  1. If you are a new shooter it is best to look at the new shooter guide that is online. Also follow basic saftey rules dont handle your gun unless supervised by a range officer or at a safe tabe. It is a good idea to tell the ROs that you are new, we will then asist you to complete the course of fire. Also take into consideration that there have been record turnouts so be prepared to wait.
  2. I use I-Shot mag pouches to organize my production mags, california comp works pouches for open mags. I also use dedicated bags for 22, revolver and production/ 3 Gun, and limited. It helps to have won several bags from prize tables over the years.
  3. I had a 1100 CM for many years and it ran great. The problem was the EZ loader it broke at two major matches. At Fort Benning there was a stage that required crawling through a tunnel at which point the EZ loader caught on something and snapped off disabiling the gun. Now I have an M2
  4. Bring a chair and a cooler and alot of forbearance. Expect alot of shooters that require gental guidance in order to safely complete the cource of fire.
  5. If you are going to shoot alot and have high expectations on function get the Nordic. A lot of 22 matches are popping up they are great fun if you have a reliable gun.
  6. If you secure the guns with the straps the field pack inside the hard case is extremely secure. I have the field pack and have used it many times. I also use a safarikand 3 gum soft case that also fits into the hard case.
  7. Both GT Targets and MGM support the sport and produce top notch products.
  8. Wont be able to do 22 side match between stages not enough time and must stay with squad. Very little wait if any between stages. Will have time after finish main match.
  9. Any news we are doing sign up for the upcoming season and would like to shoot area 7
  10. Must say the food at FNH was something special. But I think it should be optional because it is so difficult to cater to everyones tastes and restrictions. I would like a shirt though.
  11. Great fun super well run match. Thanks to all the staff and sponsors. Even the weather cooperated.
  12. http://www.wichitaarms.com/Products/sights.asp This rib is very similar has three position rear.
  13. Jim is very specific about roof's every since he flew off the roof stage at the NY rifle match.
  14. I have a colt 10inch and it is accurate enough to hit a 10 inch plate at 100 yards w/ an eotech. Put a 1-4 scope on it hitting same plate at 200 yards is no problem.
  15. Great fun. Still have to work on not running by targets. Thanks Dean and Matt and the rest of the setup crew.
  16. This should do what you need http://www.celestron.com/c3/product.php?CatID=88&ProdID=566
  17. I have a Nordic and it runs great w/ hv ammo. Have tried the insert and it was not as reliable.
  18. The more I thought about it the more I liked the two day format.Especially with all the new tricks being added to the match. The up side is now I get to save on hotel.
  19. Great job in posting the scores so quickly considering the large turnout.
  20. Ken Jankowitz and I are going. Last time Harvard put on Area 7 it was great.
