  1. Take a look at jogging strollers they fold up and carry everything you need. I use it mostly for 3-gun.
  2. One of my friends got bumped to open at the nationals for grip tape on the slide despite shooting previous major matches with it on.
  3. The match was great fun. The cadets did a great job. Our squad was first to finish which I still cant figure out when other squads still had 2 or 3 stages to go. Arrangements for lunch still need a little work . Handling prizes at registration was a great idea that really sped things up. Only thing I didnt like was the no shoots with the two black hands painted on them, I guess I have been conditioned that no-shoots are white.
  4. Jim's new home on wheels is the way to go if you want to travel in comfort. I will just have to be satisfied with my 03 4-runner at least I get 20mpg highway. My 4-runner fits two shooters with all equipment includiing two carts. With a TV, DVD player, and Sat Radio we are well entertained on long trips.
  5. With the same NATO 9mm an M&P will suffer the same fate as your 34 maybe even faster. I am a little surprised that you had so much trouble because I have fired alot of +p and up without a problem though my Glock 17 and 34.
  6. I only get light hits when I try to get too much life out of a reduced power striker spring. They should be replaced once a year at least. If there is a problem with the striker it will be apparent to the eye, like a broken tip or a chip.
  7. I have a 3-gun gear pouch but the 8 round loader sits very high.
  8. Just put together one nordic extension which seems to work quite well. Now I need to find a way to carry it
  9. another vote for the 7000. I have used it at two Area 8's and it never let me done
  10. 132PF 147grain 9mm I find that this does a very good job on poppers.
  11. Still waiting for mine in eastern PA.
  12. I just used 4 of them at a rifle match in York PA. They worked perfectly and dropped free. One stage envolved shooting from a bench at 20 plates at 200 yards. Monopodded with no problems.
  13. I would go with the meopta. Can be used like a dot with both eyes open on close targets and has 4x magnification for long range combined with a wide field of view. Illumination can be used in bright sun with no problem.
  14. I think a different set of flashers will solve the problem. I have shot at matches that used flashers that were much easier to see. We just need to make the investment.
  15. Used them at PA Rife Championship today with no problems. It was the first time during a match. I found them easy speed reload during a stage. Over 222 rounds under match conditions should be a good test .
  16. I bought two to see if I liked them. I was very impressed. Took them to the range with two AR's fed without jamming and dropped free from both.
  17. we have had the situation were the majority of a squad moves on to the next stage leaving 3 people to finish the stage, with open squading this would be allowed. If enough people just move freely from stage to stage someone will have to pick up the burden of making it work.
  18. Who tapes targets and resets steel with open squading???
  19. Stewart was a great gentleman who truely loved the sport. He was always in good spirits I will miss him.
  20. PSA Shootout NY rifle match Area 6 VA-MA Sectional Summer Blast PA rifle championship Area8 (working and shooting) KY 3 Gun Production Nationals Ft Benning 3-gun #2 on the waiting list Now that I look at this on paper I realize I am in trouble if the bullets on back order dont come in soon.
  21. They can come in handy for tagets beyond 200 yards and in special situations like Ft Benning when trying to hit a car with a grenade launcher.
  22. Noah, says who ?!?! Magwells and 1.5lb triggers are just two of the advantages
