  1. The conversion barrel is a larger diameter than the G34 barrel, adding more weight to the front end.
  2. CZ USA had a few comps in stock.
  3. I'd like to believe guys who would sell a lemon without full disclosure are in the minority on this forum. I know I'm more concerned about the reliability of the guns I sell than the guns I shoot!
  4. That's really long! How does it shoot? I would just load at 1.165" and call it good as It groups well.
  5. Softer to shoot yes, but faster split times I dunno... have you tried it on the clock?
  6. I haven't done a decocker yet, so I don't have any words of wisdom there
  7. Thank you David that means a lot coming from you, I really like using your products.
  8. Oh, you said Double Action!?! Clearly I misread, I thought you said you were having a hard time getting the SA under 3#. A DA under 5# feels too mushy to me so I haven't even tried going lower than that. How does it feel at three?
  9. When you hammer on the pin the end flares out a little, so if you sharpen the pin almost to a point it will go back in more easily; imagine a truncated cone bullet, shape it like that.
  10. Yes, try beveling the edges of the trigger pin, if it's mushroomed it will be difficult to get back in.
  11. Really? Which hammer are you using? I've gotten under 2# with the comp hammer and 11.5# spring.

I have a .45 Hunter, but I sold the top end and now I use a .40 Limited top end:

    The 10mm Hunter of course

I had a 97B once and found it very tall, I preferred my Witness .45 at the time, but I ended up selling them both Once I got heavily invested in USPSA I got out of .45 altogether, now I just have nines, .22s and a few 40s.
  15. I know what a slide stop is, I just don't use them... but I shoot USPSA
  16. I just loaded 100 9 Major loads using Federal SPP (the thinnest cups around) and I could not see a difference between those fired rounds and my normal CCI SRP loads so since I have ~40K of the feds it looks like I'll be using them for everything.
  17. I chrono'd the load I mentioned above on Sat: a 115gr plated bullet at 1.150" over 3.2gr of Clays made just 112 out of a 4.75" barrel and with an 8# recoil spring it ran like a sewing machine all night
  18. Perhaps, but I don't geek out over reloading because its going to make me win
