  1. Wow CHA-LEE, thank you for typing all this out to share with us. A find the greatest satisfaction with my shooting when I come up with a realistic plan for me and execute it perfectly. It when I try to copy the plan of a GM and bomb it I have a bad day.
  2. Update: I just needed to adjust the wedge which trips the case feed swing arm to push it over just a hair more to get the case free of the bushing (I just made up all those terms, so you might not find them in the manual ).
  3. The TF pads need to be modified to fir 140mm mags in Henning's magwell. I use mostly Henning pads, I have two TF pads I use on the big sticks.
  4. You can still use Google to search this site, just type your search words then "site:www.brianenos.com" and you'll only get hits from this URL.
  5. Rick Hebert in Colorado did these cuts for me (he was recommended by CHA-LEE):
  6. Any reason not to just use 38 super brass?
  7. The K mags are thinner than the old style so the do bulge if you pack 21 in them, but that's not reloadable anyway, 19+1 should be good. The old 10mm mags will work at 1.2"+, but the brass prep is a lot of work.
  8. 4.1gr gave me 128pf though my CZ with a 124gr Xtreme @ 1.145"
  9. My wife does the same thing every time!
  10. Forget about removing the spacer, just sell the K40s and buy K10s http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/product/8-EAA-101945
  11. One question: heavy or light? If you want a heavy gun to soak up as much recoil as possible, go with the Limited, if you like a lighter (not exactly Glock light) gun, save some money and go with the Limited Pro. The SAO conversion is too easy to justify sending it off to a smith, if you need help, just ask
  12. Yes, the guide rod comes apart into two pieces so I just ground the base to increase the stroke.
  13. I'd rather have a factory SP01 than a 75 Shadow
  14. Talk to BeerBaron about suppliers down under.
  15. Flatter, softer, all of the above I can tell that the recoil spring is too light though, it was a little lopey. Once I get it all dialed in I want to see if I can get someone to takes some good video for comparison.
  16. Don't bother with the ported barrel they don't do squat!
  17. Man I really like this comp! I think this might be my best one yet. I also tried out my stroked 40 Hunter today side by side with my Limited and WOW! I need to do some load development, spring tuning and maybe a thumb rest, but I think this is THE Tanfo Limited gun
  18. I started reloading ~2 years ago, pretty much the worst time imaginable to get what I needed, but I saw primers in stock one day online, bought 20K and used them to trade for everything else I needed. It worked like a charm
  19. 160g shouldn't be hard to get, I would first buy all new springs, not specifically for Xtreme pistols, but just Witness springs (I'm pretty sure there are not model specific springs, but just in case): trigger return spring, trigger plunger spring, sear spring, then hammer spring. I would change them one at a time in that order, taking note of the pull weight and coil diameter of the spring coming out vs the one going in (just so you can get spares and not start over again when it comes time to change springs).
  20. I have an unfired .40 complete Stock II upper for sale - $450 shipped, all offers considered. I also have the new style wood grips, pistol/conversion cases, let me know what you're looking for.
  21. I shot a 19 based minor gun once and it was a lot of fun it felt like it was coming apart with major ammo though.
  22. That is shocking ctay, I was guessing it would take an additional 4%, someone else said 10% and you say 0%. I can't wait to see
  23. Yes, the CZC price is $880, but I don't think that SKU has been listed in stock in the past three years; why would they sell a factory pistol for $880 when there's a waiting list to pay $1,400+ for a customized one?
  24. Same charge for both calibers?
