The TS trigger is unique among the cz75 pattern pistols and is far superior to any of them. I have a detailed comparison of the two floating around here somewhere.
You might not be able to see it, but a TS over two pounds most likely had something hanging up. It could have even been a funny shape to the trigger pin which straightened up when you hammered it out.

Right, deeper seated bullets produce higher pressures, and sometimes higher velocity... I've found that once you push a powder past it's useful pressure range, you get less velocity and more pressure.
