  1. Looking for some guidance for load data.. I shoot a XDM canyon Creek custom 5.25. I have been loading 9mm and .45 bayou with titegroup but looking to switch to vv n320 for .40 major loads. I know there is a lot of info on bayou with n320 but have not seen much info from a XDM. ANY XDM limited major shooters out here to share there pet load with bayou would be appreciated.
  2. I have shot both and own a 26" versa max. The stoeger will have more recoil similar to a pump action gun . The versa max will run any ammo you feed it and has half the recoil so follow ups are quicker and shoulder is less sore after a day of shooting. 880.00 is very good price for a versa max tactical!! If you have the extra cash or even if you don't figure out a way to get it for that price!
  3. -5 in Circleville ohio right now!! Wind chill -30 cant wait till friday suppose to be 45 I will be taking the day off and heading to pickaway county sportsman club foe day of practice!!
  4. Welcome. Plenty to learn here for both.

  6. Hello Mark... welcome from Ohio! !
  7. Springfield xd 9mm 3" with mag pouch and holster that came with it .
  8. That santa is a good guy:) plenty to learn here about learning to reload. Also YouTube has some great video's on setting up 550b. Welcome to the forums!
  9. I recently switched from 124 gr mg to 124gr bayou. Like you I started with what I was loading the mg at. I shoot a xdm 5.25 and the velocity was consistency higher with the same charge of titegroup. So I was actually able to load down with the coated bullets.
  10. I know with my production 9mm with a full mag it is extremely stiff. Now I also have a cayon creek custom .40 for limited with the extended release and it is very easy. Not sure if the put a different sping in it or not.
  11. I have been shooting a xdm 9mm for the past 2 years in steel and production uspsa. Loved it so much just bought the canyon creek xdm .40 custom. In the 9mm I run a prp ultimate trigger kit. It was very easy to install if you are not afraid of doing a little sear work. If not the drop in prp kit is great. Watch the YouTube videos and it installs in no time. I shot MG 124 jhp with titegroup last year with a 16lb spring and switched to bayou 124gr rn this past year still with titegroup. With either bullet NEVER had a malfunction or failure. Love the xdm's !!!
  12. Welcome to the forums! I think you will find a lot if good information here to get you moving along in competitive shooting.
  13. Guess better that it happened at home range then an out of town match you traveled and arranged hotels..
  14. I run a 26" versamax..I have ran everything from wally world target loads to 3" steel duck loads and slugs. No matter what I feed it it eats it no problem and cycles great. Only mods so far is +7 tube and fiber front sight. Just contacted jeff crums and going to send mine in for load port, weld lifter, trigger, and throat barrel. Great shotgun very light recoil.
  15. Welcome to the forums!! Loader will definitely complete the bench:)
  16. I run a versamax sportsman 26" . Only mods so far is +7 extention tube and fiber front sight.. it runs like a dream. Very soft on the shoulder and will cycle anything you feed it. I dont think you will have any regrets spending the $$.
  17. Jump ship to USPSA !! More rounds downrange and not as many silly rules. I do like IDPA for the concealment training but to many rules and not enough shooting.
  18. Wow... thay would have left a mark.. good catch
