Looks for Match

Looks for Match (2/11)

  1. I brought my timer to this past weekends match and it worked fine, thanks for the suggestions.
  2. thank you all for the replies. I have a Yankee hill brake on it now, bringing my own shot timer is a good idea I will give it a shot at the next match. just a little frustrated, I threw away a really really good run this past weekend and replaced it with garbage on the next attempt.
  3. In my past three matches I have had four reshoots because the timer didn't pick up the gun. my question to the group is, what muzzle device is going to send the most energy back to the timer?

  5. A club fairly local to me runs a multi gun event that is pump only on the shotgun, I've been running my rem 870 for this event, but seeing how I have had fantastic luck with my M3000, I am considering trying the new P3000, does anyone know about parts compatibility? it would be nice if it runs that same mag tube and small parts.
  6. Hey everybody, I've been thinking about posting this for a few months now, but this past match put me over the edge. A little back story, In high school I was shooting sportsman's team challenge events with my brother and a friend, we were doing very well and ended up with several first place finishes. I took several years off and got back into competition shooting about five years ago through a Co worker by way of IDPA and later USPSA. We had weekly scheduled practices and I was see great gains from it, but last year do to personal reasons my Co worker stopped shooting, leaving me as kind of top of the dog pile for shooters who were showing up to our Thursday night practices. (Mostly we get about a half dozen IDPA novice or marksman or C class USPSA guys) and ever since I feel as though I have gone stagnant at best and backsliding at worst in my training, without a person better than me there to push me, I kind of feel like I am just spinning my wheels. Every major Match I went to this year I got it handed to me. Including a truly embarrassing showing at the IDPA Back up gun nationals this past week. Anybody else fall off track like this, and if so how did you find your way back?
  7. And no I will never make that mistake again. Going to buy a label maker today. I could have probably borrowed a gun. But it was my stupidity so I decided to live with the repurcusions
  8. Got bumped I didn't even think to look before I handed it to the RO at chronograph
  9. So I have a pair of m&p 9mms, one for uspsa production and one for 3 gun with an apex drop in trigger. Guess who grabbed the wrong lock box before driving 350 miles? This guy. So I got the pleasure of shooting open at my first area champoinship.
  10. that's no good, Mondo did great work. I have a ton of paintball jerseys that they did for my teams, I would have defiantly used them for other shooting sports
  11. with the exception of one hicup that I can't make happen again, I have no complaints, this this is a great deal for the money.
  12. Update on mine, I have had the gun out to the range five times now since my last match, and I still cannot repeat the problem. It is back to running like a clock and I can't say what the hiccup was about.
  13. you can get a rotary hole punch set from harbor freight that works perfectly for cutting double alpha belts, I did my DAA with the punch and a cordless drill, and it looks like the holes were done at the factory. http://www.harborfreight.com/6-piece-hollow-punch-set-67030.html
  14. I really do appreciate the help, you aren't going to believe this but I cannot reproduce the problem now. I went to the range last night and it did exactly what it should have. I tried with the tube full, half full and almost empty with the same ammo from my match and my practice ammo, and I can't make the gun do it again. it was going it on my last practice on last Thursday night, and I avoided trying to load that way during the match because of it, and now it is functioning exactly how it should. so I don't get it.
  15. It was removed before hand and the recover was clean when it went back together. This past week was the first time it happened and I've had it for a season.
