Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I think the radius on one end of the plunger is for the joint that mates up to the lever not for crush seating primers. I could be wrong.
  2. Most people that load a lot of rounds do it on a progressive press. As you know they use the powder dump method. I know my reloads will shoot better than I do. Just my 2 pennies. On another note redding makes a really good beam scale.
  3. Might want to get a chamber checker just to make sure your sizing and crimps are going to work. I loaded several with those very same dies that wouldn't chamber very easily. It was just a matter of adjustment.
  4. I use the rcbs small base dies for 223. They seem to shoot just as tight of groups as regular dies.
  5. You'll need to do a little filing on the follower. They have burrs that can make them hang up.
  6. Tru spec makes some really nice stuff. I also have a pair of black hawk pants that I really like.
  7. What is everybody doing for lighting up the inside of a gun safe? Right now I have a couple of harbor freight battery lights but they are kind of hit and miss.
  8. Pocket pro II for me. Great timer.
  9. Para cord is always a good option. I've also gotten some sling swivel studs and drilled and tapped hand guards and lock righted them in.
  10. I built mine and screwed it straight to the studs in the wall. It's really solid. I didn't care for the wobble of a free standing bench.
  11. I've been considering a bullet feeder also. It really seems to speed up the process. More shooting and less loading.
  12. I've been considering the hornady bullet feeder. Before too long I'll have all kinds of things hanging off my press.
  13. I've always been kind of skeptical about the vibra prime. I saw a Dillon primer filler working last week It is pricey but really worked well.
  14. The price on those is pretty good. Have you weighed them?
