I have posted warnings about this issue several times, I suggest a search. It took me 3 times the stated lead time, which I believe at the time was around 7-8 weeks. It's a great belt, but I won't be a repeat customer.

So if I use athletic tape instead of skateboard tape does that mean I'm in ESP? I don't really care if it moves me, just wondering

Agreed, I really do like the BMP belt. They'll tell you x wait time, my wait time was 5x.

OP do a search on brass monkey here before you commit to buy. Any reason why you want this style? Why not just get something like the HSGI padded belt?

This question answers itself. It's a stock glock part, the interchangeable backstraps are legal, so why wouldn't the stock glock part that is essentially an upgraded interchangeable backstrap/beavertail not be legal? OEM extended slide stock as found on the 34/35 are legal on all glocks, while the tangodown/vickers extended slide stop is not. why? because one is OEM and one is aftermarket. That logic appears to be pretty cut and dry.

If you don't mind me asking...what's you're USPSA classification? For unfamiliar equipment and running some screaming loads, that's not a bad classifier. It's a goofy game, but can be fun.

You taking orders? Looks good enough to me to give 'em a shot, especially when I know I will only every shoot small local 3gun stuff.

I think I'm going to be stopping at the local goodwill to pick up a blazer. I'll smoke pipe tobacco in between stages and wear a monocle and an eye patch. Or maybe go with the leather bomber jacket and Indy jones hat.

yea you could shoot it in both SSP and ESP. SSP with stock barrel ESP with either barrel (I think not 100% on that)

Shoot the XD in ESP, buy $15 uncle mike double mag pouch or 2 kytex mag pouches for $30. Shoot Seriously there is so very little difference between the times of SSP and ESP it's almost negligible. You could always download the .40 and shoot that 1911 in ESP as well.

Take the shots that trouble you and put the targets even farther away. Make transitions longer, ie put more distance between the targets, or vary distance in between targets. Practice draw n turn Put them all together. The classifier is easy to set up and some people are more concerned about the status of earning whatever classification, I'm more concerned about being at the top of the score sheet. Practice the weakness until they become strengths, reassess and repeat.

Agreed, you can't throw a 9mm conversion barrel in a g35 and shoot production.

That's what I figured, but thanks for confirming. I've never experienced a light strike with my setup of 4# spring and oem striker.

What benefit do you foresee gaining using a jager striker vs oem?

2" offhand? My advice would be that if you can't shoot any better offhand than you can bench, you probably won't realize any accuracy gains a barrel might produce. I can't shoot better offhand than bench but then again, I only bench to get my sights right.

What other rules do you deem unnecessary to follow? Just because something isn't checked at every turnaround doesn't mean you shouldn't follow the rules. Or is your integrity that questionable? If I shot with someone on a regular basis there's a pretty good chance I would catch on if something wasn't right, if there's smoke there's fire so I'd start being a little more critical of him and everyone else. No sense in letting things slide, even if it is just a "local match".

no not at all. That's just a side discussion, debating if model designation matters when for all other purposes the two models are identical.

So, what you are saying is that a guy who owns a gun that exactly matches one on the Production list (other than a model number) has to go out and buy a new gun that is exactly the same as the gun they currently own (other than a model number) just to play our game? Hm. If he wants to play in production that's the way I read the rule. He can play in ltd or ltd10 or open if he wants

I'm rather new to the sport, so I might not be grasping the intensity of meetings. I guess where my frustration comes from is how something so simple (seemingly) can be apparently so intricate. I mean these 3 questions are all that's required: 2000 produced? Available to general public? Compliant with Divisional rules? Those 3 questions just don't seem like rocket science. So I struggle with how it's possible that something like this occurs even once.
