  1. Jim sent you pics via email. My thumb joint rides on the fin and I haven't experienced any discomfort. Feel free to add the pics to this forum if u can get them sized. Good luck!
  2. Jimbullet I have large hands and have been running the nitro fin for over a year now. No issues with my thumb position. Some use a real forward grip and rest the backside of their palm on the fin and some slightly adjust. Depending on where your hand lies I am confident that you would come to appreciate the fins ability to control the recoil of the gun. After shooting it for awhile I really don't even think about it and my hand goes there naturally. Give it a try you won't be sorry! Let me know if any questions. Brian @ demmabt@yahoo.com. Good shooting! Jim I tried uploading a pic but it's too large. Send me your phone number and I will text it too ya..

  4. Thx for sharing that is a great trick that will help with my .380 sorting issue.
  5. Awesome! I wanted everyone to know that the nitrofins are in stock again and shipping. Buy with confidence. I love mine!
  6. I would say just the primer tube and slide. Very easy to change out. I have gone to two sdb set up side by side. One .40 and one in 9mm. Very good set up for the money.
  7. One game will likely suit your likes better depending on the individual. I started with idpa and shoot USPSA more frequently now. Because I learned on idpa I dont have any issues going back and forth. I do find that while there are good experienced shooters in both games that USPSA is at a higher level. Longer faster shots with no real rules so u can use your head to figure out a gameplay that works.
  8. I started with a Glock 34 in 08 and shot that and a s&w ssr in esp, ssp and ssr until last year. I started shooting USPSA and was shooting a 2011 so I had a custom 9mm 2011 built for esp. I use ready tactical holsters and mag pouches. Good luck!
  9. I have a hero 3 and use it both on a head mount as well as a third party handle mount. It gives differerent points of view, is waterproof and has good video. I love mine and would recommend.
  10. To load 900 rounds of 9mm/month, there is NO advantage to the 550, and the savings is actually closer to $225, I believe - That's worth it. I agree. I dont buy that anyone can load ammo faster on a 550 than a SDB. The facts just don't add up. I've loaded on both, and there really is no time savings on a 550. FYI, ive been using the same depriming pin for over 2 years now. Never had an issue with it. I load close to 2k rounds a month. Great deal guys!! I'm actually not looking so much on speed of production as I am on literally just having fun learning and then shooting what I make only to make my accuracy better in the long long. I'm so glad that this forum is here where people can give honest opinions and not "push" the bigger badder faster machines on new guys because they THINK they are the better knower of things! I don't have a small workbench but not a great big one (4x8 and another that is 3x6) so sure I could get a bigger machine if $$ were there, but my philosophy in life is it isn't always necessary to "Super Size" your order every time. Sometimes it's just nice to go with small and simple if it'll get the job done! I figured for $6 bucks though getting the 10pack of those pins would just be nice in if I happenstance to screw up and break one. My question is will the ones offered on Brian's site work on the SDB dies, as I didn't see them offered under the SDB accessories page? Biggest issue right now for me (and everyone else) is just finding that dog gone powder. That's what I'm waiting for before I make any type of purchase right now. Thanks guys! You will love the sdb and a plus is the auto index feature that u don't get on the 550. I have two set up on my bench one in 9 and one in .40. If all set up with primer tubes loaded and supplies on hand I have loaded 500 rounds in 52 minutes. No need for the 550 unless u will be switching calibers. Good luck with your purchase!
  11. I have been running a nitrofin for almost a year. Great product, 100% reliable, repeatable grip. It has made a difference for me and for those I know that use one. Its also nice that it transfers from gun to gun with no mods or drilling needed. Give it a try! Hit me up at demmabt@yahoo.com if u want any more info..sorry for the font size something is up w phone..lol
  12. Love the commercials. Cant wait to see what the beer gods have in store this year. Always a winner somewhere in there!
  13. I have two pair Howard Leight Impact muffs and a more expensive pair of Peltor electronic muffs. The Leight muffs are better imo due to an automatic shutoff feature as well as running on 9v vs either AAA or AA batteries. Got them on Amazon for $40 something bucks. Not good with an open gun unless you double plug.. Those things are brutal LOL!
  14. Thanks Scott. Good to see you last week! See ya next month.
  15. I have a couple buddies that are left eye dominant and right hand shooters. It is a challenge to get adjusted to a style that works. Some use the tape on the glasses technique and another just uses his left eye. I would try both methods and see what works for you. Of you could go back to the left had draw which would probably be harder. I can shoot ambidextrious but dont like to. One way should feel better than the other and you should be able thru repetition become comfortable.
  16. You guys are crazy to do that for fun? Ans the impressive thing is the guns are running! Stay Warm.
  17. Awesome show. Tons to learn from this series. Thanks guys!
  18. Nice blaster and love the ammo case!
  19. One of a kind pic.. Thanks for sharing.
  20. Nice color. Stands out nice with the hardchrome!
  21. Excellent job on that video love the dual image and different view points.
  22. Congrats on mentoring him and bringing him along on the journey. It's always fun to introduce someone to shooting. Now help him get that trigger job!
  23. +1 agree. If you are shooting IDPA moonclips are not allowed in SSR.
