  2. Well, when I was practicing regularly back in 05 I had a 10 run average of 1.96. 6 shots on 1 target 10 yds, reload 6 shots on another target 10 yds, 3 feet apart. (oh yeah, that is with a Revolver. FWIW) Can't do it now though... Hop
  3. So SORRY Merlin, Snoops are a special kind of dog, had one as a kid. (killed by a Rattlesnake) HOP
  4. Nick, 08-02 comes up zeros for revolver division Hop

  9. Mr. Miculek is busy making shooting vidieos. (making more money than shooting matches) Had he not been busy, he told me he would have liked to go shoot the MS classic (ONLY 4 hrs drive for him and Kay). Good luck, keep Devon straight. Hopalong
  10. And why is that Cliff ???? IF I had a nice cushy job driving people around I might be able to go more places. Hop

  12. So................... what is the elevation there at Parma, Idaho ???? Are you Mountain guys going to Kill us low landers ???? AND, Here is a really tricky question. Will I loose or gain FPS with my load (4.1 gr. Clays, 230 grn FMJ, Federal LP MATCH) ? vs, here in South West TN ? Hop
  13. Since, we've been talking about it in the MS classic thread I thought I'd do some snooping around. Here are the numbers I came up with: Averaged out from 2005, when the "revolution" seems to have begun. Nationals: 30.25 AreaMatches: 1-----------------11.75 2-----------------8 3-----------------8 4-----------------4 (funny since this was in Jerry's back yard for 2 2 of the 4 years) 5-----------------9.25 6-----------------7.25 (Jerry was at this match all 4 years, the only one he was at aside from Nationals) 7-----------------10 8-----------------10 Now thegood stuff: NUMBER 1 !!!! Summer Blast-----------------17 Unfortunately, the summer blast is not going to continue due to the MD moving to a new job. Number 2 !!!! Mississippi Classic-------------14 3 North Carolina......................12 4 South Carolina......................9 5 Indiana.................................7.25 6 Tennessee............................6.5 7 Michigan...............................5 There are many with the same as Michigan............that is a going rate for sectional matches (on the average) or a little less. I did not use the Ohio match, but one year they did have 20. Since there was no OHIO match last year I did not use that match as it would mess up the numbers. I also did not use the Lousiana Gator Classic since I could not retrieve the results from some of the previous years matches.I think the Gator classic will likely be 4th, but coming on strong as they have had double digit numbers except the first year (If I remember correctly). Now, plan your matches accordingly if you want to shoot with more revolver shooters in the same match. ONE more note: this year (2009) has seen a little increase in the revolver division in the matches I have paid attention to. BUT, some are now scheduled on top of each other causing a conflict. Example: Weekend of May 16. Mississippi Classic............has 15 or more North Carolina.................has 11 showing on Self Squading Florida............................No info on this one, but you know Cliff, Luke, and maybe even David will be there. So If there was a little communications between Area Directors, and section Coordinators maybe there could be at least 20 or more at both instead of less than 20. SO there you go, a little worthless (Maybe) information. Hopalong Edit to add: I also just noticed that most of the matches are in the SOUTH
  14. OUCH !!!! (I guess I had that coming ) She's still around, matter of fact she'll be out for the MS 3-gun :http://www.crssa.com/docs/MS3-Gun%202009.pdf Come play !!! Hop
  15. Thanks guys, It was fun, but We sure could have skipped the 4-6 inches of rain on Saturday at Arkansas !!! I was so tired, I slept better on Sunday night than I have in a while !!! Bubber, I AM afraid...............and I AM watching you. Good to see you again. Hop
  16. Pat, one year they tied MS, the next they were a little less. They did not shoot it last year. I don't know of or have heard about this year either. Hop
  17. Darn Matt, Sorry to hear that. I think I'll actually get to make this match this year. (maybe, gotta check on work schedule). HOP
  18. Pat, It was the Summer Blast. But now that it is not on the radar anymore, it's gonna be a real close race between MS and LA gator classic (Until the Memphis Charity match gets underway) Hop
  19. Ft. Benning 3-gun has a little different scoring. 2 hits required unless shooting HM, A=0 seconds added C= .5 second added D= 1.5 second added. USPSA new scoring is 2 ANYWHERE, or 1 A to neutralize ( like steel city carbine match in Birmingham AL) FWIW. Hop
