  1. But Mike, I've still things to do to get the range ready for you guys !!!! Shooting the match in the rain is another thing. It will hamper ya'll (I'll be dry hopefully) You shot well last weekend. Charles kicked ARSE !!! (Gonna have to slow that boy down somehow) Hop
  2. I made it home from East TN (Work) and had a nice little Certificate from CASPIAN waiting for me !!! Again, Thanks to all who put on the match. And ....................................... Thanks to all the sponsors (especially Caspian) Hop
  3. Jon, it showed yesterday. Thanks, and you should be getting a squadding pin from Brad Hop
  4. B'wana, He isn't coming. He's afraid, very afraid Hop Jerry is just giving everyone a chance !
  5. Not YET, but get out and root some of them out. Hop
  6. SA, I think that is why they are there, to keep others from hiding (Not that anybody would do that)
  7. 33 signed up so far. 8 more and we'll have set a new record for revovler participation at a single match (USPSA Nats hold that record for now, but not for long) I have not been able to contact Randy Lee, can someone get intouch with him. IF he can't come, we need to beg/borrow or steal something of his for the prize table. I did talk to Danbagger, He is "CHICKEN"...................ok, not chicken but his work took a dump on him this year (and he thinks he wants to be a 3-gunner) Cliff is holding out, I guess he's "Chicken" too. GM Johnny Brister is practicing up on you guys as we speak (or Type)...He's bad news when he's "up to date" The next Master NashvilleBill is actually giving it a break right now so IF any of you want to whip up on him, this match is the place to do it. Fun and games aside, If you are coming, please send you application (it makes it easier for me to plan stuff). If you are not, talk to others and tell them about it. Hopalong
  8. 33 registered shooters as of 1700 18th of September. Many of the "regular" revolver shooters have said they intend to come, I have yet to see their applications. Several shooters at the USPSA Nationals have said they intend to come and also said they would send their entries after the Nationals. SPRINGFIELD has stepped up, we have 3 FREE guns coming for the prize table (NOT all XDs either) Hearthco has been at the fire, he will be sending his WORLD FAMOUS moon clips. Carmoney has sent a free "Carmonize" job Elliott has sent some "Speedy Racks" North Mountain sent some Moon holders (Single and multi post) Smith & Wesson has said they'll "do something" Julie is a little busy right now. Mississippi Classic has sent a free entry for next years match ICORE Southern Regional has sent a free entry for next years match. ICORE CUP (Jackson MS) has sent a free entry for next years match. Missouri Fall Classic has sent a free entry for next years match. That's the top of the list (off the top of my head) If you know someone who would love to donate something please let me know. IF you want to donate to the St. Jude Childrens Hospital we'll gladly accept those too. John Scouten with Shooting USA will be on hand filming. If you want to get your 15 seconds of fame, this is a real good chance. I do have some shooters from as far west as UTAH, NORTH as Minnesota, East as North Carolina (Not many though, there are a bunch of wheel gunners in NC ) South as Florida. Just need more to step up and "Take the Challenge" ! Hopalong
  9. Jim, Are the Man on Man shootoffs still scheduled for Sunday ???? (One of the reasons I like to make this match) HOP

Signs (Targets) will be posted on the Highway Friday and Saturday to help you find your way to the RANGE !!! Next order of business, can someone turn off the rain ???? HOP Oh, and Thanks Kirk !
  11. Another thing to help bring more shooters to your match (any match) is the new Self Squadding feature. People can see who is going and can then decide if they want to or not, and what division to shoot. I have went to a few matches that I wasn't intending to go to because of this feature. The match Mangament can still make "super squads" and things even with this feature. Having said that. How many and what divisions are represented as of now ? (Thinking of coming, but looking to shoot something different as a change of pace) Hopalong
  12. Big Bear, Good luck with your match, I hope the rain we are getting here in Mississippi that is hendering final preparations does not hender yours as well. The LaRue Tactical Mississippi 3-gun Challenge wishes all shooters at the Adams Arms Ozark 3-gun championship good luck and good shooting. We were planning to max out at 75 shooters here in Mississippi, we are now at 67 and I'm looking for a few walk ups so I consider it FULL . Had our two matches not been on the same weekend I think we would have had to turn a few shooters away. I don't know how many you had planned for (or hoped for) but I suspect you would have gotten a good bit more. IF we (CRSSA) do this again next year, we MUST make sure we don't conflict so some of us can attend your match as well as some of you guys coming down here and having fun. Goodluck, and please everyone tell the range staff, and match sponsors thank you for their support. Hopalong/ Sam Keen LaRue Tactical Mississippi 3-gun Challenge Match Director
  13. Well let's see: Tennessee Mississippi Arkansas Louisiana Texas Kentucky Missouri Indiana Ohio New York Idaho Florida Georgia North Carolina Alabama Oklahoma Illinois That's it for now (17), but next year we'll add Hopefully Hawaii South Carolina (maybe later this year) at least. Hop
  14. After shootin 6 nationals I've decided to skip this one (and maybe more). When I first started going there was a good many vendors and you could get stuff at a reduced "Special match price" and there was an "Atmosphere" about them. The last 2 years especially this was missing. For the price of 1 nationals I have been to Area 1 in Oregon, and Area -7 in New York...different parts of the US I had never been to and likely would not go otherwise. I suggest going to at least 1, just to say you've been to them. Otherwise go to a couple of area matches (You'll see the same "Pros" at most of them ) Maybe Double Tap also. Hop
  15. What will it take to get 150 shooters ???? PUT on an AREA match the next weekend !!!! Hop

    TEXAS STAR

When I was polished up, I consitantly ran the star under 3 seconds from draw with my revolver. Now that I don't keep on top of that skill set it takes me the high 3s low 4s. (Can't shoot it faster with a blaster either) but can do it the same times pretty much. Hop
  17. Not for me, it is an 8 hr trip. But I've been there quite a few times. Hop
  18. COOL !!!! Farley will ENJOY shooting his "TOY" with a wheelgun ! Hop
  19. Matt, I have it on good authority that there will be several ESR shooters going to LA this next year that haven't been there in the past ! Think about it quality and some quantity !!! Hop
  20. If that's the case, All you come down to Memphis Oct 31 for the Memphis Charity Challenge !!! (shameless plug) Hop
  21. Any news ??? How many Revos signed up ? Resjudicata, you gonna make it to memphis, if so I need to plan to be in Rolla !!! Jim, Still don't see an entry from you for the MS 3-gun. DON'T tell me you're going to the Adams Arms match instead ???? (all the good shooters will be in Mississippi) Hop
  22. Matt, You can shoot IDPA anytime, BUT there will only be 1 Memphis Charity Challenge in 2009 Hop Edit to add: IF you want to find some ESR competition, just go down to the Lousiana state IDPA match.
  23. Bueno !!! Congrats to the COLON clan. To Fransico for the great finish, and Nemo and MRS. Nemo for a great Son !!! Couldn't happen to a better bunch of folk. Hopalong
