  1. I'll come if you promise to come to the Memphis Charity challenge !!!! Hop
  2. Memphis airport is 1 1/2 hours Birmingham is 2 3/4 hrs Birmingham is a smaller airport and as far as that goes is most likely easier to get your guns in and out. Huntsville is even smaller, and is 1 1/4 hrs away. Got 11 entries this weekend, we are now a little over half full. IF you are sitting on the fence you'd better get off and get y our entries in. Hopalong Edit to add Huntsville, and correct the time for Birmingham.
  3. Bubber, Self squadding is easy. When Brad sends you the Pin number take it and click on the Memphis Charity Challenge on the self squadding page. Then click on your name. Then put the pin number in the space for it. Then put yourself in the squad you want and whala !!! Heard you picking on my 3-gunning buddy today. Hop

  7. Very good Jack !!! Luck or not, it doesn't matter. You still did it. (Kind of like making GM as mentioned before) I shot competitive 3-d here in the southeast of 10 years, knocked so many knocks off that I quit gluing them on and just push and twisted. Only had 1 robin hood in all that. Hop.
  8. Turnout will NOT be an issue for the match. We will be shooting no matter what.........2 or 200 it doesn't matter. I've been away working and playing just a little. have actually slept in my own bed once in the last 19 days. I had more entries when I got home yesterday. I've forwarded them to the Stats dude Brad (Mover5) and he'll send confirmation and self squadding info to those folk shortly. Off the top of my head, I think we have close to 20 give or take a few. (i was hoping for 30+ by now) I don't really expect most entries until mid September. Hop

Hop
  13. Josh Lentz !!!! Josh Stayed away from any penalties, shot smooth and steady. JUST what it takes to win a major match (and about any other too) One of these days I'll tr to remember that !!! Hop
  14. Finally a little time to jot down some stuff. Travis and I were talking on one of the stages about the match. We both agreed that since the squads were so small (we had 5) and we were zooming through the match so fast that it really didn't feel like an Area match. Atmosphere ect. The range officers were great, I just had to call John A. a couple of times to make him earn his keep (You know, just because) I personally want to congratulate all the winners, I had the chance to shoot with the Limited and Open Winners and they are true Champs. Way to go Lee and Trav !!!! Also congrats to Josh Lentz, the Revolver Division Champion. I tried but just couldn't keep them where they should be most of the time. Josh, If your reading this How about a rematch at the Memphis Charity Challenge Oct. 31 ? (listed on USPSA website) (and all others wanted). Hopalong
