Well, no matter what there will always be some kind of conflict. The date is the only one we have to use the range without a range conflict so there you go Darned if you do, Darned if you don't. We'll be shooting out to 300 if any way possible (a litte work to do there). We'll start shooting at 9 AM to allow driving time that morning. No pre entries needed. Just show up and shoot. HOP

Merlin, The 625-3 I have as my now practice gun, was my main gun for 5 years I know has 200k through it. Like Carmoneys 25 it too has an oblonged center pin hole. I had to put a Firing pin in it this year, and about a month after I aquired it I had to put a cylinder on it after I double charged it. It still has the factory cylinder stop (window is pretty slopy now) and I found out the hard way the star fingers don't like a deep chamfer. (had to replace the star after breaking 3 fingers). Other than that it is good to go. I shoot 90+% lead through the gun so the barrel looks good and it still groups 2 inches at 25 yds, plenty good for what we do. HOP

I'm finally making it down to Lousiana to see if ScooterJ really even does have a revolver and use it and see what kind of extremes he goes to just to keep me from seeing ???? Oh well, he can come to Memphis in October now since he'll be a match down and need to catch up. HOP

Merlin, I regularly use my 25 or 625 in ICORE (When I shoot ICORE, like this coming weekend in LA). It is all about the shooting anyway. HOP

AVOID brass with the headstamp AMERC and S&B Both have primer pocket issues and the AMERC is a weird alloy that doesn't resize very good. Other than what Carmoney mentioned with the NT brass with Small primer pockets, just pick up what you can get. HOPALONG

WOW, I can remember when I was the ONLY one with a birthday today !!! Happy Birthday to the other B-day boys and gals !!! Hop OOPs wrong day, but it still fits as far as the restof it goes.

Well we had 6 hardcore folk show up today. Congrats to the Range owner Nathan H. he came out on top of a hard fought battle between him Mike P.(who came from Huntsville) and myself. Congrats to Chuck B. he broke out the M1a and showed us what a "RIFLE" was !!!! and won HM. We'll try again sometime. HOP
