I thought about having the barrel fluted and if possible try to find a Delrin guide rod. Seems like a few yrs ago someone was making them for Open guns but I can't remeber who it was. Caspian says the Widebody frame weighs 4 oz more than a Single Stack frame so I guess I'll have to wait and see. DaG

Anyone have a Caspian widebody used for IDPA? I'm having one built in 40 and am beginning to wonder if I'm gonna be able to make the 43oz weight limit with an empty mag. Any info would be greatly appreciated. DaG

I've had both in open and S_I in Limited. I'm currently having a Caspian built for Limited and IDPA. The selling point for me is the grip size and weight balance. Cost is a little cheaper also. DaG

I just got 4 of the new 40 cal. mags from Caspian. Can anyone tell me if Grams has followers for the new style mags? I did a search here but can't find any info on followers. I saw Allen Meeks posts from a couple of years ago about the mags holding 20 rds but can barely fit 16 rds in mine with the hi cap basepad. I clipped 1 coil and could get 17 but the last rd did not set up against the feed lips. Any body got any info? Thanks in advance. DaG

Do you think 12 twist is too slow for 175 SMK's? I not planning on going any heavier than 175 but also want to run 155's if possible. DaG

Well, sent the action off today. Decided to go with a 1/12 Schneider finished at 26" with 95 Palma chamber. Hopefully I'll get it back by the end of March. The wait begins....... DaG

OK, time to rebarrel my 308. I've talked to alot of people and have just about narrowed it down to a Schneider 1/12 or a Rock Creek 1/11.27 . Anyone have experience with either of these? Pros,cons? Also the Schneider can also be had in a 5P (polygonal) configuration. Whats the difference in 5P and 5R? Also what's the difference in a 95 and 98 Palma reamer? I had the exact same problem with my CM and also thought it was the tube spring. Turns out the carrier dog had a small chip missing from it and it turned into a single shot also. The bolt was hanging up on the chipped out area (I think). Anyway replaced the carrier group and all is well. DaG

The page won't load up enough to let me scroll down to change the setting. It's like it gets hung up and keeps repeating the loading process of the forum page. DaG

Anyone have trouble loading the forums page on their BB Bold? I can load the home page fine but when I click on the forums tab it says requesting then loading 160k of 160K. It keeps repeating this process over and over. Anyone have a clue? Thanks in advance. DaG

O.K., I'm a total noob about AR Triggers. I have a lower with 60 rds on it. Today, As I would let off the trigger to feel the reset, the rifle would fire. If I let off the trigger completely, it would reset 25% of the time. Got home and cleaned it out with carb cleaner and everything appears to be clean (no grit or trash I can see).It doesn't matter if I'm standing,sitting, running,prone, off a bench or whatever. I thought about bump fire but it doesn't matter how I'm holding the rifle or what position I'm in. Is this something I can fix or does it need to go to the smith'? Thanks in advance. DaG
