Just looked at the list of Pro's giving their time for the clinics. WOW!! How do you pick just one from that group!?!? I shoot lefty rifle/shotgun and righty pistol if any of you Pro's wanna use me as a trainig aid. Slinging a left rifle and drawing a right pistol is a challenge (for me anyway) DaG

I'm using the new 40 mags and basepad with Arredondo spring and follower. It's pretty stiff but I can get 20 reloadable but I have to mentally be sure that I slam it home. I'm thinkin' that clipping 1 coil might get an extra rd. (maybe) OAL is 1.175 DaG

Is it a 2 or 3 rail dustcover? Seems that the 2 rails were a little lighter for some reason. You can also put an aluminum mag break, Marschall grips and a flush ms plug to reduce weight. 10 rd mags will help a little also. DaG

Definately looks like a Caspian. I talked to Gary a few months ago and he said he was gonna change the frames to accept .250 radius beavertails. Wonder if that is part of DW's specs.? DaG

I was only allowed to sling behind because I kept the rifle unloaded, w/ no mag. I thought that a slung rifle was considered to be like a holstered pistol? Seems like I read this somewhere that it was "inert". So how do you sling a rifle loaded on safe without breaking the 180 in front or back? Sorry for the hijack. DaG

I'm runnin' 155 AMAX out of a 28" Schneider 5P 1/12 with 46.5 Varget. Shoots very well at 1K. I just never could get the 175 SMK's to shoot worth a crap. DaG

Dick's in Knoxville,TN has them for $849.00 and they are the American version. I shot one at our last 3G match and it was definately softer than my 1100 CM shooting the same ammo. I think I'm gonna go the American route and send it to Mr. Hill. DaG

Victor R, thanks for posting. Close but not exactly what I'm thinking. 1 target straight ahead and 1 target each hard left and hard right so that you have to move to each side of the port. I would think this would simulate someone standing on each side of a window out of sight with one straight ahead. What would engagement order be under this scenario? DaG

OK, got a question. Since the port issue has been cleared up that you must slice the pie, what happens a port is at the end of a hallway and you are coming straight into the port and not from the left or right? (slicing the pie) Target array is 3 targets, 1 left,1 right and 1 straight ahead. What would the engagement order be in this scenario? DaG

Having a IDPA gun built and was wondering about fluting the barrel for weight reduction. Anyone that has fluted a bushing bbl, how much weight did fluting take off? Also, can you tell any difference in accuracy? Thanks for any help. DaG

Well I tried 46.6 Varget tonight @ our 1K league shoot with the 155 AMAX @ 2.816 . The load held very good elevation with just a little wind messing with me (not figured that part out yet) The load didn't show any pressure signs and seemed to work very well in my rifle with the 95 Palma chamber. I came up 31 min. @ 1078 elevation, 90 deg. with low humidity. Didn't get to chrono but I think it's pretty close to 2900 fps and hopefully verify this Saturday. Thanks for all the info guys. DaG

Hey all, Looking for a good starting load for 308 @ 1K with 155 AMAX. I have a 28" Schneider 1/12 5P with 95 Palma chamber. I'm told the AMAX flies like a turd but hell, they were free so might as well try'em. Win brass and Fed 210M primers with Varget. Thanks for any help. DaG
