That's the main difference. Other difference is the American comes with only three chokes, while the field comes with five. The field comes with a nice plastic case.

I have one built by Mike Cyrwus at Accurate Iron It is awesome. I think it comes down to personal preference. I can certainly vouch for Mike and his work. I think there are a lot of guys here who have either his or one of Benny Hill's M2.

At one point, I had 6 gallons of beer in the fridge. Over 15 gallons in various stages of being created. I had a tap to pull cold beer at any time. Unfortunately, I gained a ton of weight.. Lol

If you can find 3 gallon kegs, those are the best for regular refrigerators. They fit perfectly without losing too much space. Back in school, my roommate and I had two of those in the frig at all times. Im sure the wives would be unhappy with us doing that now.

So, I got to thinking about the potential hazard for lead poisoning to us shooters. Probably the biggest hazard is due to inhalation, either at an indoor range or while reloading. I reload in the garage, but I don't have any special ventilation. I don't even open the side door to get extra circulation. Should I? I was driving with my metal target plates yesterday in my suv. Warm day out. Anything to worry about? I usually leave the plates in the car. Laziness, yes. But it also saves room in the garage. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I've had MSA with the gels for a year. They are awesome! Super comfortable. However, I have found that I don't prefer them for indoor. They cut down the sound so you can hear conversation rather than cut it out completely like my peltors. Indoors, the echo was really loud and uncomfortable for me. Luckily I don't shoot very much indoor. But definitely either double plug, or go back to my peltor 7 just for indoor.

I've been a Dillon user for a year now. I had the same concerns. I was swayed toward blue by my friends but also by the sheer number of guys on the forums who speak up about their experience with Dillon.
