  1. The flat trigger does not allow the trigger to move far enough forward to reset in double action. Sent from my VS987 using Tapatalk
  2. I agree that undersized bullets are the problem. If any plated bullets are over crimped, which is basically anything more than removing the bell, that will probably occur. Sent from my VS987 using Tapatalk
  3. I am familiar with their inventory, and they do not currently make them.
  4. Hello, Does anyone know if there are any aftermarket base pads for the small frame 13 round compact magazines, specifically for the polymer compact models? They are oddly shaped and extend out pretty far from the front end of the magazine tube.
  5. Those plated bullets were over crimped when they were loaded previously. There were visible creases. I loaded them deeper than the creases and most of the rounds worked fine but there was quite a bit of random keyholing, LOL. So the takeaway here is not to buy pulled plated bullets.
  6. Has anyone had leading issues with the Gen 5 barrels?
  7. I am looking more for OWB competition type holster. The problem with the non P-Match Polymer guns is that the frames are a bit wider than the steel Witnesses so it makes it difficult, if not impossible to find a vendor who is making them.
  8. The other day I decided to do some polishing to a Limited gun that I had only installed a 14 lb wolf hammer spring and a CZ75 sear spring into. I lightly polished the trigger bar plunger, the trigger bar, sear cage, sear, and the hammer hooks on the oem hammer. The SA trigger pull went from 3 lbs 10 ounces to slightly under 2 lbs 8 ounces. 9. I installed a Freedomsmith Racer Trigger Shoe and swapped out a few springs. I must say that this has one of the best feeling triggers I have ever had and I have boatloads of Shadows and Tanfos. I had someone fashion me a guiderod from a 6" 1911 FLGR and coupled it with a 15# commander spring. It still feels a little snappy but it is a bit more controllable than the stock guide rod. The Viper has held up well and the dot is clear. I might switch to a 507c down the road. I wish I could add a bit more heft to this gun but otherwise it has been a great shooter and it has been super reliable. Sent from my VS987 using Tapatalk
  10. Better than a Charlie or Delta, LOL.
  11. So basically which is the prefetred extension? Springer TTI MBX Taylor Freelance Sent from my VS987 using Tapatalk
  12. USPSA targets at varying distances. Seems to break the A zone perf quite often, lol. Sent from my VS987 using Tapatalk
  13. It can be if you buy previously loaded plated bullets for 3 cents a piece, lol. The funny part is that yhe keyholing did little to affect range or accuracy. I have used the Lee FCD to fix some loads that wouldnt pass the Hundo guage because I didn't want to pull the bullet. Keyholing seems to be random from that. Sent from my VS987 using Tapatalk
  14. Overcrimped is my guess. Use a kinetic bullet puller to see what the bullet looks like. Also, how much bell are you using? Is there any shavings while the bullet is being seated? Have you slugged your barrel? Sent from my VS987 using Tapatalk
  15. It seems that most of the sub 500 dollar Tanfoglio options on Gunbroker are the Witness P Small and Large Frame as well as compacts these days. I wonder why nobody is making a holster for them.
  16. You like the 27 round mag instead of 17 round mag with a +6 extension?

    SAO vs DA SA

That's actually a good thing because it is an opportunity for people to learn. Detonating the primer while manually decocking rarely ever happens and when it does, it is due to poor technique. Thumbing down and the pinch method can easily allow that to happen. The finger roll method does not. Hopefully he will take the time to learn the proper method. Sent from my VS987 using Tapatalk

    SAO vs DA SA

What point are you trying to make? Every manual CZ75b can be locked and cocked, thus operate in Single Action. Sent from my VS987 using Tapatalk
  19. You mean the OAL of the bullet itself? That number in itself means little to nothing. The typical OAL of a 9mm cartridge is roughly between 1.040 and 1.169" Anything outside of that range will most likely be outside of SAAMI specs. Sent from my VS987 using Tapatalk
  20. It seems that there are many options available nowadays. What is the best/reliable option/combo for glock mags available on the market nowadays?
  21. Or you can carefully make a few gentle tugs on the long leg of the spring that rests on the frame. Sent from my VS987 using Tapatalk
