  1. @MikeyScuba I ordered mine from Amazon USA got 4 for the same price, but if yours fits better I'll probably just order a couple from Amazon CA
  2. wow I can't imagine what that clunking sound is at all. It doesn't sound like the clunk I once had that disappeared when I tore it down and put it back together (I think that the base plate can maybe twist a bit when you're moving it and that can make things go clunk).
  3. @MikeyScuba what syringe did you order? I got 3 off Amazon but they won't reach through the core to get to the crank grease point unless I remove the grease zerk from the swage cam. I have a gen 1 core without the oval access hole in it, mine is just round and lines up directly to the pin that needs greasing. The newer cores have an oval hole and allows the syringe easier access
  4. the new bowls they've moved that wiper to after the first cutout to cure the issue of primers bunching up at the wiper. There is a new piece to replace the black finger that primers go sideways under, in both aluminum and plastic, works great for me, no more sideways primers at all.
  5. i'd consider taking off the top plate and wiping down the main ram, lubing, cleaning the bushing and reinstalling the top plate
  6. if you don't want to shell out for the Mk7 get the DAA one from Imortobot with the conversion cable to work with the Mk7

    New CZ Open/CM Design

I believe both the TS and CM are getting redesigned, I'd expect more commonality with the Shadow 2 (with the large frame mags though) than the DWX, CZUSA is doing the DWX, not CZUB
  8. that sounds like something mechanical is messing with the upstroke. I have not ever seen firmware vanish either, don't know how that could happen
  9. using index marks on the big shellplate nut is a great way to know if it's walking loose. I had to tighten up mine the other day when I had it running at 3000 RPH. first time I've had it come loose while loading.
  10. I don't even do one pass loading for 9mm on my Revo.
  11. @yigal lol, it's not a Skoda, jeez, it's a Praga
  12. My Revo: 2500 RPM Index of 1 No dwell All currently available sensors Decap sensor off when loading as I only run processed brass Clutch at 1 or 2 I am now able to load at 3000, and maybe even at 3500, the new collator piece I got seems to be working well. I also polished the collator up to get rid of the machine marks just after where the primers drop in. Only done a few hundred at 3000 and haven't chrono'd them yet. My only really concern is that at that speed the powder measure might fill slightly differently and give me different loads than what have set it to at a slower speed. When I did my powder accuracy testing I just turned off the bullet feeder and would run 20 or so cases into a bucket (letting the powder spill) and then grab 3 off the shellplate (Powder check position, bullet feed and bullet seat positions) and compare them. I guess I can do again at the different speeds, it's just boring to do so.
  13. My gf has an A01LD as does a friend of mine, I've shot them both a fair bit, but much prefer my Shadow 2s over the A01LD, especially my Orange S2. Were I still shooting the Canadian Shadowmates the A01LD might hold some interest for me, maybe. I do like the heavy barrel and wish CZ would do that at some point in the S2, but the rest of the styling of the gun doesn't do it for me. I know Angus will kick me the nuts the next time he sees me for saying that too. But comparing performance for IPSC or Steel Challenge, I just don't see any gain with the A01LD and the weight actually might be a negative. Although I remember going from a Beretta Elite II to a Tanfoglio Stock II and how much the weight made me suffer for a few matches until I got used to it, maybe I'd get used to the A01LD too. Since a great deal of my purchase decsion is based on looks after performance the S2 series wins for me.

    85 combat trigger

@George16 Good to know dude, thanks

    85 combat trigger

The trigger came on it's own as far as I know. And the DA is significantly reduced now that is in, using a SeboWeapons 0.0 disco.

    85 combat trigger

We already run 0.0mm discos, so I hadn't thought they were involved at all in the reduction.

    85 combat trigger

I run 85 Combat triggers in all my Shadows and Shadow 2s, it's a much nicer curve over the regular trigger. Dawne has a Cajun reach reduction trigger which is pretty much a 85C trigger with a setscrew to take out the slack in DA. One could easily get a normal trigger drilled and tapped to do the same
  18. Winchester primers are pretty dirty primers and stick a lot. Hit the unit with Pledge or similar, and wipe it down, using a Q-tip to get into the pockets and down the ramp too
  19. a video of what is happening would be very helpful
  20. One should always confirm things are in fact in spec. The nut can also work it's way loose during operation, which is one reason I put two index marks on the nut and the bushing it screws onto, so I can always tighten it to the same level and notice if it moves
  21. yeah remove the primer stack and slide, check to see if you have some schmoo in there. I'd also check to see if the top of the punch has a bur on it that's catching on the primer slide or something. Lastly, lube the rocker up, including the spring on the punch. You need to lube behind the rocker especially.
  22. outside of the odd split case I've somehow missed, I've yet to have a case that fails a gauge not actually work in the gun (as practice ammo of course)
  23. @DJRyan13 duh, I should have known that, I have a 1050 Pro on the bench across from my Revo. duuuuuhhhhh @chgofirefighter I never had a mechanical one, but my buddy up the street from me did, and he loves the Digital one he has now, was not a fan of the mechanical one. I ended up buying a second digital one for my girlfriends ammo as we use different powders. I use Tightgroup and she uses WSF. Probably going to pick up a 3rd one this summer for when I load for others, it will be the one that I don't mind changing the settings on
  24. the digital measure works on the auto drive Evo as well as the Revo, I have 2 for my Revo. I know the screen doesn't show the measure on the 1050 Pro, but don't know why they couldn't make it work on there too. Only thing is absolutely need to flare in a different station as the digital powder measure doesn't flare the case mouth (obviously for pistol)
