  1. Ed Brown wide ambi worked the best for me, i also ground down the left side.
  2. That is pure awesome, I got to try one of those out on my buddys simulator, it is definently harder than it looks,
  3. Not to sure on dvds but the best advice i ever got was brians book.
  4. Some people will never stop stooping so low, these peaple nead a taste of their own medicine.
  5. WOW. You really do have alot of time on your hands. Thanks for the interesting info.
  6. Thanks for the video, good info
  7. The closest thing that i could find to a 200gr RNFP was a 200gr Hornady XTP calling for 1.230. I would recommend working from longest to shortes OAL. Hope it helps.
  8. Although i dont recommend depriming live primers, you might want to put on some ear protection also, primers in confined spaced are still pretty loud.
  9. I have notice this on some short stages, but for the most part i dont pay attention because i am the guy that goes against the grain on almost all stages trying to make them left hand freindly.
  10. Cool video, did anbody else notice the RO taking a ricochet to the leg at 2:30.
  11. What caliber? I assume .45 I run 200SWC at 1.245. to me that sounds a little deep to start with, assuming its a .45.
  12. Got my ballot yesterday in the mail tomorrow. Like john rodriquez said wouldnt it be easier to have it on the uspsa website. Thoughts?
  13. Two drills in one and not alot of ammo. I LIKE IT, will try this on next range practice.
  14. No, he was shooting CDP and only had 8 round mags
  15. I switched from red to green FO, for me the green is easier to pick up quickly and see easier on most all backrounds. The human eye will naturally pick up green colers faster than red colors, now that being said everybody see colors in a tiny bit different shade, so whatever works best for you run with it and dont look back.
  16. Im down 20 lbs in about 3 months doing crossfit. Lost 10 of that the last 4 weeks after switching to Paleo for a little in-gym challenge we are doing. +2 on paleo and crossfit, I went from 235 to 170 in about 4-5 months. It takes alot of dedication to want to improve, but stick with it you will get there. To me it wasnt all about the weight loss it was a comination of much healthier lifestyle, waking up refreshed every mourning with no pain, no sickness etc,etc... was my motivation.
  17. I think that there are those of us that have a natural talent that can pick up things easily and are good at them right away. I am not in that group.... I will never be a Vogel or an Enos even if I fired 10,000 rounds a month. I know that I don't have the skills to make GM no matter how hard I train. I disagree also, with negative thinking and talk like that it will make it alot harder to progress forward. I dont thing vogel or enos had a natural talent it is probably more dedication and persistance that payed off for them.
  18. 100 brazos FO sight and Tripp rear sight on my single stack. After messing around with lots of different configurations and manufacturers, this is the setup that i found works the best for me. The rear notch is 115 it could be just a little wider, more like 125-130 but it works for me.
  19. Thanks for all the replys. The shooter was a experieced shooter, he just forgot to top off, now he will probably never make that mistake again (hopefully).
  20. I searched for this answer so i appoligize if it is a double. At a local IDPA match one person got a PE for not topping of after load and make ready, now the RO did not tell him till after he shot the stage. I dont have a rulebook on hand is it manditory to top off after load and make ready. Would this incur a PE and couldnt of the RO told him before he shot the stage or would that be coaching.
  21. Welcome to the forums This is the right place to learn a whole lot
