  1. if this ibook has never connected to the internet, go to system preferences, and select network. configure for airport...a few clicks and yer there...
  2. kathy-who's RB? hell, send him over-we'll abuse anyone...only reason geoff & i are on the same squad is we have to map out the pubs every day (and try to find the trucks in the morning)...
  3. dunno the exact weight, but it's a bunch...
  4. looks like stage 12 has been changed-looks to me like the infamous ramps are gone-that right, tom?
  5. being italian, i'd love to go over there and shoot this match. i was a bit freaked out looking at the photos of some of the stages. stacks of steel belted radial tires to obscure targets is scary. i've seen bullets come off those things...
  6. guess it depends on yer loading technique, but mine are on the belt with the rounds facing to the rear-that way you can just stuff it into the mag well without turning it 180 degrees. Thanks, but I'm not sure I follow? Are you starting mag lips down bullets pointing to the back? Or are they mag lips up pointing back? In either case, wouldn't it still need to go 180 (either on a verticle axis or a horizontal)? If the mag lips are down with bullets forward, there is still a 180 turn on a different axis. The only way I see avoiding 180 is to have lips up bullets forward. lips down, bullets pointed to rear-much easier on the wrist. also, if you have to reload from a prone position and forgot to take the mag out, it's also easier...
  7. hosing muskrats while they swim is another impressive sight. 223 rounds cause them to obtain "big air"-must have something to do with the round impacting the water and a shock wave. i remember seeing a few go up 5-8 feet or so...

  9. been looking for one for many months no-they are no longer to be found for a pic rail or weaver base. ended up drilling/tapping a YHM dovetail angle mount to do it...
  10. removing a drain plug in a small bass boat while in the middle of a lake, only to drive back to the boat ramp with one finger stuck in the plug opening...
  11. was checking gas prices since i'm driving to the 3gun nats in oregon. albany has the cheapest gas in the state. while i still feel like i'm bending over at $2.67 a gallon, that's $.35-$.40 less per gal than in norcal. wish i could fill up there on the way...
  12. i think what guy says is true. i've been playing with some nosler ballistic tips, which are boat tail and using the BC of .267, the trajectory mapping using G5 is not reality-it is much closer to G1 drag function, at least that's what the trip to the range shows...
  13. shred do you have a part number or reference? you mean i will use 2 button batteries each with 1.5v? Or is it the same as the cmore battery 3volts drum type? Thanks. jason <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Jason, look for the Energizer LR44. bought a 20 pack of A76's on ebay for $8 shipped...there are tons out there...
  14. luv watching these guys complain about the difficulty! i'm gonna sit on my arse and watch the 24 hours of lemans starting tomorrow at zero dark thirty...
  15. I just want time to ponder the most exquisite form of death I can apply to it. I'm thinking of having it loaded full of Yanni music, then kidnapping Steven Jobs and having it implanted in his brain. suggest u take the sledgehammer to that windoz box...
  16. bob-pm me-we have the facility-just a matter of when it is supposed to be.
  17. the orig para hi cap frames took a few gunsmiths out of business checkering the front strap. i remember mine doing one on a buddies and he said his hands were numb for 2 weeks! plastic was sure nice...
  18. we all have a box full of comps from over the years, so let's show 'em. from top to botton are: J. Michale Plaxco-circa 1986 Bill Wilson-circa 1988 Dick Bancroft-circa 1991 D/D Gunsmithing-circa 1992 Noel Alfaro-circa 1996 note the d/d comp/barrel, minus one of the lugs. back then, we were trying to get steel guns to cycle fast-this one required an 11lb spring and it cycled like a raped ape. and on the alfaro comp, notice the 2 holes in the barrel...he might have been one of the first to try this.
  19. not much older, eh? ok, what was your draft number?
  20. rich-yer way too young to remember 1/2 this stuff. blake's gunracer-that was good old kirby's company. heck, i have one of the original chip mccormick frames-still runs. serial #23! and i don't even wanna talk about before that. let's see, started with one of them AMT long slides-hahahaha-then, had plaxco build me a real gun. then, well, i won't go there...actually can't remember...
  21. anyone have a source for ultramax 55gr NBT's? cheapest i've found was $99 for 250...
