  4. 4.5 year old topic.. revived! I still like this show, but have to record it to watch later.. of course it only takes 10 or less minutes to watch it.. I fast forward through anything where they're not actually looking at something Amazing.. that Rick seems pretty smart.. the rest are idiots.. or just acting that way for the camera?
  5. Thanks.. I just saw the video of Jerry doing that... Already have mags loads for the AR-22 - going out this afternoon for this one
  6. Are there any good short range rifle practice drills people use? Short rifle.. 20-40 yards.. I just suck at...
  7. That seems too close.... people really wanted that? Change 5.3.19 From: Firing a shot at a metal target from a distance of less than 23 feet with a handgun, 147 feet with a rifle, 23 feet with a shotgun when using birdshot or buckshot ammunition, or 147 feet when using slug ammunition. The distance is measured from the face of the target to the nearest part of the competitor’s body in contact with the ground (see Rule [10.1.3]). To: Firing a shot at a metal target from a distance of less than 23 feet with a handgun, 147 feet with a rifle, 23 feet with a shotgun at a popper or 16 feet at a plate when using birdshot or buckshot ammunition, or 147 feet when using slug ammunition. 9. Can someone answer this?In USPSA: always (since 2013) - just maximum of nine at the start Most rule sets allow this, but not all
  10. I thought was done until I signed up for a couple night matches...
  11. I use the 124RN - in all my 9mms TG: 3.9 = 133.2 PF, 4.0 = 134.9PF That chrono'd out of my SVI.. the Glocks seem to be a little faster
  12. Any one know of other sources for extensions to make 170mm magazines?
  13. her other songs are just as bad. Can't tell if they are singing either. I'd never heard her before.. I would have guessed there would be an ordinance prohibiting her from getting in front of a microphone
  14. Thanks... I had no idea how many of these things they were.. I'll have to go down to REI and see them in person Best news.. considering all the equipment, this is probably the cheapest thing I need I could not believe the 'full dark' gear some of the people used. I'd used a Starlight scope back in the 70s.. these new goggles were amazing
  15. Until I saw Sarge's link - it was the "What does the Fox say".. That Ono thing is horrid.. I'm not sure it qualifies as singing though
  16. You might make the risers hold sticks for 1x2s rather than 2x2s, they're more common
  17. Any suggestions for a good headlamp? Preferably one that has a red-light and white-light switch Not for shooting the stage, but to help with the reset and just getting gear ready
  18. One year.. 2008? Dave W. shooting a suppressed AR in .223.. went one for one (as best as I recall) - it was amazing.. the targets weren't quite as far as they are now. but some real nice shooting ETA - I think that was 10 shots total
  19. Just a bump - had this happen.. in 2 of 3 sensors.. ruined one, the other was ok I also now mount the sensor differently to get to the battery easer.. oh well
  20. Give MarkCo a call.. I got an upper last week with a Nordic barrel.. took less than 48 hours from talking to him, to having it shipped in and my hands..
  21. I did the initial rifle sighting in the basement... now I'll go the backyard and .. fence to fence should be closer to 50.. until I can get to the range at dusk or so The bore sight would be a nice addition
  22. I'm going to have to find a time to go out late.. tried yesterday, couldn't see the green dot passed about 10 yards. Going to have to look up bullet drops for the pistol
  23. What's a good distance to site in the laser on the rifle for? And the pistol? I have a second rail on the AR, that I can put on an extra flashlight if needed too
  24. Ordered on Thursday, have it at noon on Saturday.. sweet! So tempted to use it in the match next weekend... but I'll wait
  25. Unloading and slinging it should be ok, I'd think On Stage 11.. at least once a few years back.. that was required
