  1. This is the same die.. George worked with Lee to build it, it's not an exclusive EGW productThis is Georges comment on it:http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=23777&page=2#entry285205 I stand corrected. Sorry for the misinformation. I was under the impression hey were different based on what I've read here on the forums. You mean the u die I can buy from brownells is the same as the u die on EGW's site? I didn't think Brownells carried the 'U'-undersized dies?.. I just looked at their dies - didn't see them.. but I could've missed it I know if you call, Lee does sell them directly. I got one of mine from them way back before I Knew about EGW.. I ordered my others from EGW

  3. Any chance there might be a place that I could zero my laser to my rifle when I'm there on Friday late evening? No need to fire a shot.. just like to confirm I have a 100 yard laser/scope zero
  4. One thing to make it much, much easier, and not too much more expensive.. buy pre-processed brass from a reputable seller Processing the brass.. is (to me) tedious and takes the most amount of time.
  5. It's hopefully, a fairly intelligent algorithm, that figures you like that song, you probably like others from that artist, and others 'like' that artist. My experience.. maybe 4-6 months, it's pretty good.. expect for the live versions mentioned already.. I'm trying to whittle those out. Use the free version for a while.. you'll see pretty quick how it matches
  6. I tend to agree but some very unusual things can happen on a range. Brass coming off of a wall? I have seen that more than a few times and it has always resulted in no reshoot. Brass came from the gun so it would be easy to say it's not an outside influence? But a piece of gravel in a gun could be devastating to the gun and shooter. If I see it as an RO and the shooter tries to shake it loose and it stays in the chamber I would most likely stop him I guess. I don't like making bad calls and I don't like reshoots but I mostly don't want to see somebody get hurt. And the gravel certainly came from the outside of the gun so it's an external influence. I love these unusual rules discussions! Such an awesome learning tool if you ask me. I quite agree if it's a safety issue..
  7. I when back and checked that chart.. you're including all the 'U' shooters. while some are really unclassified, that number added to the classified numbers = 23,522 - for all divisions the larger the number the less shooters there are in that division I shoot all but Open
  8. I don't care what you call it.. but it's a health/safety issue - I'd stop him asap and offer the reshoot after he's been checked out. You can call it range officer interference if you'd like Something the competitor did to their gun, blocked with a rock/stick, etc.. they stay on the clock
  9. Same for me now too.. since I almost only shoot 3 Gun.. the knew pads really help getting down prone, etc, and they don't get in the way as much as some
  10. From Pandora: >> If you give a "thumb-down" to a live version of a song, you will not hear that version again on the station you're listening to. This will not keep the studio version of that track from playing, and doesn't necessarily mean that you will no longer hear other songs by that artist. As always, you should use your thumb ratings freely to tell Pandora what you want and don't want to hear. <<
  11. Is there an MGM Switchview that fits this scope? (a normal one, I'm sure the Universal would - I'll go to that if I can't get an aluminum one)
  12. Just checking with people that have gotten the Universals.. how are they holding up? I'm thinking this is the only MGM solution for a Primary Arms 1x6?
  13. I use the free version - and like it, especially is you have adblock on If it does try to play a bieber or perry song, the 'thumbs down' seems to keep those at bay I started trying some of the other 'decade' stations' then I'd add groups form the 60s/70s/80s that I had forgotten about - to my own station - gives me a good eclectic mix
  14. I've only seen them at SMM3G, as a shooter I liked them How many people use these in matches? What are some pitfalls? How long will the batteries last? (1 squad, 2, the whole day?) In one of our typical matches, all rifle steel must be hit twice... will these reliably cycle fast enough? Corded vs. wireless sensors? Thanks, Dave
  15. Went out and shot this again, about 100 rounds started noticing issues again Came home and plugged the barrel, bored in some lead remover and let it sit for a couple days Then, started with the worn brass brush.. this came out.. weighed 3.6gr.. (the red lines are 5/16" apart) Hopefully this will do it
  16. I have an older Fire and a Nexus 7 Nexus 7 hands down.. but maybe they've improved the speed, etc on the Fire. Some of the apps (if they're even available) - run differently on the Fire, and not for the better I bought a small wallet/case for the Nexus, came with a blue tooth keyboard for < $25, and you can have a Bluetooth mouse too..
  17. This should answer those... USPSA Rulebook (part) In short 10 rounders.. not with a 45 - they're too long
  18. Quick question: For pistol use... I'm wondering if you can hit one of these with (example) 5 quick shots, or if that will get the target swinging too much and topple the stand? I've seen problem with some stands that will get swinging and topple over forwards.
  19. Not in Limited, minimum is 40 cal for major
  20. I use TiteGroup for almost everything.. except Minor 40 - it doesn't seem to burn cleanly at minor velocities. The cases are usually sooty and they don't seem to expand fully to seal the chamber.. I'd pick something else. But.. maybe this is just me So.. for Minor 40 - I went to Clays
  21. Get an SVI in either 9MM or 40.. and get another barrel, breach face, extractor in the other caliber when you want/need to shot the other
  22. What range is that? I thought I recognized the first stage, but not the next
