Hopefully Right Thread >>>>> I am wanting to suppr
D.Hayden replied to Ken_Bird's topic in Rifle & Shotgun - Technique
One time I bought a couple of cheap cans.. with the tax stamp and the 11 months they took.. I should have just paid a couple hundred more for better quality ones They are not nearly as quiet as the better ones either a side question for everyone.. how many rounds of 22 will you shoot before taking it apart and cleaning? -
Pandora Radio
D.Hayden replied to Graham Smith's topic in Computers, Cameras, and Electronic Devices of Any Kind
Anyone have any favorite stations on Pandora? I like music from the (late) 60s to today.. pretty eclectic (no boy bands, katy perry, justin beeper! - lol) The stations I seem to find, seem to have few songs and just keep repeating them -
springs.. I don't change them.. practice will show if there's any issues.. I'm more concerned about 100% reliability than anything else poppers.. same thing... we generally don't see those issues as much, but your right, they happen we'll have spinners every match.. maybe 2-3 spinners between the 4 stages just for the pistol. in my own tests I know how many hits it takes for light 9mm/heavy 9 and 40 to spin them over. so i load the mags and position them accordingly

Regular steel doesn't matter too much.. but some targets benefit from higher power factors. if you have spinners for instance. I always carry 2 types of 9MM now. 130pf and some about 150.. just in case

Sarge.. could you post a picture of how you have this? tia.. Dave From the factory it was to the left all the way. Near as I can tell there is no way I could get two to fall through but it will hang up is two get in there. I recreated it by placing a few pieces of brass. The other pic is how I have it slid over so they don't occasionally hang up. IMG_0464.JPG IMG_0465.JPG Perfect.. Thanks!

i'd vote to let revolvers with Dots (and about any modification i can think of) play here too - gives them a good place

It sounds like a common problem people have There's a bunch of threads on this it's fairly common. It seems the primers are being punched out and actually are pulled back up into the case, the primer gets stuck on the decap rod. Some people will make the decapper more pointed, some will make it more blunt and round over. Speer Brass does this for me

If you can find it.. WC844.. it's really better than just for plinking loads, but it tends to be priced well example: https://www.wideners.com/itemdetail.cfm?item_id=6672&dir=278|283|999

Have you used shepherds hooks for steels plates?
D.Hayden replied to Floorplate's topic in Handgun Techniques
They work fine if you get them set into the dirt fairly well. Sometimes I'll get them going in some rhythm, and they'll pull out of the dirt. We have very dry soil, so that's probably more of the cause -
I have a 627pc.. if you wanted to try it out I can bring it to a 3Gun match at Boulder

OK - since I have no concept of gases, I admit it - I'm a software guy In the winter - does it help to use a full tank or use a half tank? Maybe if there's room for gas expansion in the tank that'll help fuel flow? -

Should 0 degree temps affect the little 5 gallon propane tank that much? or is it the outside air that affects cooking temperature? I have 2 propane frills I use for different things, one they call an "infra-red" grill.. which is great for fish/steaks and then a traditional type that's better for burgers I do regret not getting an outside natural gas line.. now that the temps are expected into the low 50s.. grilling some burgers or steaks sounds even better With charcoal.. been years since I had one.. maybe that's a good low tech backup... brand suggesiutons? I grew up with the green-egg things back in the 60s and 70s - i know i'm against the trends - but i won't go back to one -
Just use kelvin.. it's easier
