  1. According to "Lapua Burning Rate Chart" From Fast bruning to Slow : 3N37 N350 3N38 When I used 3N37 in my 9Major, I used 8.3 grain of powder and after switching to N350 I'm now using 7.5 grain with a Power factor of 176-178'ish Michael.
  2. Thanks. Any different feel? Never really shot with it, just played around with it. Prefer N350.
  3. Use 1 grain less then your 3N38 load. I used 8.3 grain of 3N37 with a 124 grain and it gave me a powerfactor of 176. Michael.
  4. I keep mine at .360 in the back and .355 in front.
  5. I have tried standard STI 170mm mags with stock internals, with 9mm follower/space, 9mm TTI follower/spring with Hardy spacer and SPS 170mm mags with stock internals. The SPS ran strait out off the box and when it starts to have feed issues, then change the spring or pull it back to specs. Sometimes it can go salt shaker on you if you load it with 29 rounds and slams it very hard into the gun. (Happened to me twice at a IPSC level 3 and 4 match) STI mags needed some feed lip tuning and after that, it didn't make any difference what internals I used in it.
  6. I've used 8.3grn 3N37, 7.5grn N350 and tested some 8.5grn N105 powder running AlsaPro 124grn FMJ bullets. The 3N37 and N350 has a PF of 178ish and the N105 was at 166PF in a Freedom Gunworks with a Schuemann Barrel at 1.150" OAL. I do prefer the N350 Powder.
  7. I would go for an CK Arms / Freedom gunworks / CC Gunworks, got my 2nd Open gun from Bobby and wouldn't hesitate on buying the 3rd one from him.
  8. C-More 5 hole pattern is .375 inch apart. C-More Serendipity 3 hole pattern is .750 inch apart.
  9. They are only for CZ Mate & Tanfoglio, however he can do a custom version for any gun if asked polite .

  11. It shouldn't take Matt long to redesign the RTS2 mount for a Delta Point and it would be nice with some more options when selecting a mount for it. I'm also on the lookout for one so I'm diffidently looking a Matt's when he is done.
  12. Looks like you may have some issues with the Extractor... If you don't have an Aftec installed, then install one....
  13. Will there be any IPSC legal magazines?
  14. The you are lucky, one of my fellow shooters here in Denmark has ordered one and will get it August or later...
  15. Hi It is illegal to ship most gun parts outside US without a permit.... Speed Shooters International is one of the few who has that permit.
  16. Binary Engineering has made a very good video about removing and installing a Comp. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=207488
  17. A bit off topic but maybe you guys who is missing a spindle speed readout might find this interesting. http://macpod.net/misc/sx2_tachometer/sx2_tachometer.php
  18. What Power Factor would you recommend for your TI Comp ?? I'm not Matt but I run his Open guns with his latest Ti Comp Exclusively. Like most comps his prefer a little more gas before they really kick in. I found my gun handled best at about 174-175 PF. That was with MG 121's as well as MG 115 JHP's. And I run only WAC powder. I'll try to bump up the PF, at this point I'm running at 170'ish with 7.55 grn of 3N37 powder. I do have some Vectan SP2 as well to play with.
  19. What Power Factor would you recommend for your TI Comp ??
  20. It should drop right in without fitting.
  21. To wide feed lips can cause stove pipes. Feed lips on all of my magazines measures .355 in the front and .360 in the back.. Dave Dawson has an excelent kit for this ( http://www.dawsonprecision.com/ProductDetail.jsp?LISTID=80000B60-1388518125 ) but a small brass hammer or wise will do the trick as well. You can get Grams parts here : http://www.gramsengineering.com And Taran Butler here : http://tarantacticalinnovations.com Both of them requires the use of spacers for 9mm. Michael.
  22. There are some few things you can do to your mags to insure that they are running 100% : Polish the mags inside and outside... Make sure that the feed lips are up to specs. Change the your magazine guts to either Grams or Taran Butler. This should take care of most magazine faults. You can also try make bent the 2nd or 3rd coil after the follower to a steeper angle upward. Regards Michael
