I'm usually a pretty big advocate for shows that feature guns and shooting no matter how bad the show is but I can't stand behind this one. It does nothing for shooting/shootes when potential new shooters are affraid to even ask the price of a gun after having seen this show. I'm not gonna bag on the show but I choose ot to watch it unless nothig else is going on.

I dunno. I think in this instance the GDs did add to the show. They were obviously religious people. They brought God up a ton. Used him as a shield, damned each other with him. Using the Lords name in vain may have purposefully been done to show just how angry they were with each other. Maybe they feel "Dag Nabit Devil Anse Hatfield, you'll get yours!" really didn't cover the emotion they were going for. To each their own. I thought while not 100% accurate it was still entetaining and maybe made a few people decide to look up the true history.

I think they actually time stamped it and the time that passed was actually shown in the McCoy children. The wife picked up on that since we missed the time stamp.

Found some pictures on the interwebs. You sure you even need an easy loader kinda deal for that gun? Looks like it's got a button on the side of the gun for a bolt release.

Use the 20 and just make sure when you flip the gun over you have the receiver in your hand and not the barrel. This will keep your hand from burning and will be more stable during your load.

I think the only way to pull it off would be the plate route. Otherwise it wouldn't really be a mozambique. Can you require different required shots on different targets in USPSA? You could just cut the heaqd off one taget, paint everything below the head on the second target black for hard cover and staple the headless target in fron of the hard cover target but I think they'd still require the same amount of shots no? I don't think you can get what you're looking for without plates.
