  1. Chip power mags have worked well for me and are cheaper than wilson. I believe Hilton Yam said the chip power mags are the best bang for your buck 1911 mag. Enjoy the new gun.
  2. We shot this at our local match a few weeks ago and Taran B (shooting open) was the stage winner with a HF of 8.8496 (all A's in 6.78). The calculator shows that to be 78.3150%, which confirms your theory that this is a difficult classifier.
  3. 10-12 lbs. I use a 12 lb Wolf with my 132pf reloads and it works well.
  4. Thanks for posting your data. I have a case of these bullets and need to work up a load.
  5. Brownells sells a neoprene pad for the top of the stock. Takes the edge off the impact against your cheek. Best few bucks I spent on my M1.
  6. +1. If you like the feel of a 2011 you will like these. They makes the grip feel thicker and specifically make the front strap feel less rounded.
  7. I have the one being sold on eBay and it's great. After spending too much time searching for a dropped primer on the floor of my garage I became convinced it was worth the cost.
  8. Bulldog discreet case is great and only about $30. Here it is at Brownells http://www.brownells.com/shooting-accessories/gun-cases-racks/gun-cases/ar-15-m16-ultra-compact-discreet-rifle-case-prod41025.aspx
  9. PM Retread1911 on here. He processed a large flat rate box of my 223 brass quickly and for a fair price.
  10. The seller must be shocked that there are two idiots willing to bid so far above cost. Unless there is only one idiot and a shill bidder for the seller. Either way, I am amazed.
  11. Don't forget the 1050 only comes with one size primer set up - for 10mm it would be LPP. You would have to purchase the SPP set up for 40, which would add $100+ to the cost.
  12. I was told you have to mail the certificate in with a check or money order for the remaining amount.
  13. If you're loading 30k/yr of 9/223, the cost difference between a 1050 and a 650 shouldn't be material compared to your component costs over the life time of the machine. Get the 1050.
  14. The strong mount that sold on ebay for $110 shipped sure got my attention!
  15. The bowl for both units is the same, but on the 550 the switch to stop the collator when the tube gets full of brass is located in a different place - it is actually attached to a clear housing on the casefeeder tube instead of inside the clear plastic on the collator. The switch needs to be relocated, and that's the part that I am a little unclear how to do.
  16. Are there instructions anywhere on how to convert a 550 casefeeder for use on a 650? From searching, it seems like it's definitely feasible but no specific instructions on what is involved. Any permanent modifications required? Thanks in advance for any info.
  17. This one is great: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/653468/noveske-push-button-quick-detach-sling-swivel-mount-for-troy-trx-trx-alpha-handguards When you take the QD sling swivel off the mount is flush with the hand guard and you don't even know it's there.
  18. Not from a store. Bare frames can only be bought from a private party CA resident in a face to face transaction. Pretty difficult to find someone willing to part with one and if you do the price is usually high.
  19. Keep in mind that there is pending legislation that will eliminate the single shot exemption as we know it at the end of 2013. I don't believe there are many (if any) 40 single stacks on the list, so if that's what you have your mind set on you should work on getting it as soon as possible. Have you looked at an STI Trojan via SSE? Those are pretty readily available and much more cost effective than rebarreling a 10mm.
  20. Not sure what I would pay but I would definitely be interested. If it could use the Dillon case feeder that may help keep cost down.
  21. No adjustments to the priming system necessary.
  22. If you can catch them in stock, they seem to be filling orders very quickly. I ordered a case of 124 FMJ on Wed afternoon and received a shipping notification on Thurs morning.
  23. That fix looks better than any of the photoshop options you posted. Great job!
  24. PM Retread1911 from the post above. He processed a large flat rate box for me a few months ago. Turn around was less than a week and the brass looks great. Price was reasonable too.
  25. Thanks. Still in stock 4 days later. Maybe the panic buying has subsided.....
