To the shooters that have both calibers, how much differenc is there in felt recoil in a 40 vs 45? Same kinda gun be it a single stack or a double stack, such as two sti, one in 40 and one in 45. Lets say you are shooting a 200 gr bullet in both just how much difference is the felt recoil and can you get the second shot off faster in one over the other? thanks Johnny

Just looking for a brief explanation on how a bull barrel fits in the slide. Does the barrel just make contact around the slide at the end of the barrel and if so how does one fit it? thanks Johnny

Welcome, are there alot of matches in that area?

I am using 4.9 WST with a Missouri Bullets 200gr. swc loaded at 1.24 long. Works nice in my pistol.

I am shooting a 200gr. swc with WST powder with a 14lb recoil spring and I like the snap of the light bullet. Shooting in a Para P14 if that makes any difference.

You might try taking out the match hammer and sear also and try it like that to see if it works.

Hey guys, not sure how to describe this. My guide rod (factory) in my P-14 is spinning. Not the head where it seats at the barrel stays still but the rod itself spins. Is this normal? thanks Johnny

Thanks for the reply but what I am asking or trying to ask is the rear sight parallel to the top of the slide or the slide rails?
