I just had a ss 45 slide tri-topped to lighten it up a bit and I really like the look. Once it is all done, I'll see if I can tell if it recoils different than my flat top Trojan.
Can you post a picture?
Hey guys, what are some of you using that shoot a Para P-14 in Limited division for mag pouches? I am seeing alot of .40 mag pouches, will they fit?
thanks in advance.

I have had an injury to my left had which does not give me enough strength to fire a pistol with it. My index finger has been fused in the joints so that the only movement I have with it is at the one that meets the hand. What is the rule on this?
thanks

Is that a rigid? It looks painful from here!
Has forwards now, because while I'm short, apparently I'm not THAT short....
No it is a softail. It rides very well and is comfortable to ride however I have not been on a long trip.
There is a great chapter in BE book Pratical Shooting Beyond Fundamentals about bringing your pistol up with your eyes closed and then opening them to see where your sights are at. If you practice this repeatedly until you can do it everytime you bring your pisol up your front sights will be aligned with your rear sights. Then if the green does not show up I would try red or orange.
Hope this helps. It helped me alot with iron sights and a dot.

Thanks for the compliments guys, It actually started out as a lightweight commander and it was my first checkering job. Miss with the file and all the points come off. That is why it has a Caspian frame. Then to hard chrome. Wish I would have dovetailed the front sight so that I could have a dark one instead of the chrome one.
Otherwise it shoots great. Hitting a 12" steel plate at about 45 yds the other day.

I have seen some paras that have the frontstrap checkered on them. How are the gunsmiths doing these with the serrations that are on the frontstrap. Are they being checkered to the same amount so serrations per inch? Or welding the front strap up and starting fresh? How many lpi are there in the frontstrap and if you were to weld one up what is the least amount of lpi could one put on one?
The wall seems a little thin in some places to go to a 20 lpi checkering.
thanks
