Hey guys, when milling rear and front sights in a slide do you indicate the top of the slide or do you go by the rails that have been machined on the bottom of the slide? Dawson sights if that makes any difference. thanks Johnny

Did'nt say that I heard that everyone uses Arrendondo basepads, just asking if anyone here uses them. Are you using stock springs in your P-14 to get 18 rounds in? I know of a fellow shooter that has Dawson basepads and spring kit and can only get 16 in his mags. thanks Johnny

I was going to suggest gunbroker also as I have seen then on there before.

Long time ago I had a para and I had these aluminum grip inserts that let us run these pistols without grips. Does anyone know if these inserts are still being made? Thanks Johnny

Thanks Mike, I put the old front sight and the slide on a comparator and got the info and have been shooting my front sight for about 3 weeks. It works great!!

Had a great time. Saw a couple of people that I had shot with many years earlier and the whole experience reminded me of why I played the game to begin with.

Saw about 8 1 lb canisters in my local gun shop this past week.

So this weekend I am going to the Sir Walter Gun clubn North Carolina and shoot my first match with a limited pistol and the first one in about 17 or so years. I am a little hyped and nervous about it. I don't suppose things have changed that much by the videos on you tube. Sure am looking forward to it. Johnny

I like the one at Dawson but I work at a machine shop and was going to make my own to save cost. May buy Dawsons anyway. See alot of good stuff on here about their products. thanks John
