  1. It will be the same barrel on any of the three you listed.
  2. I haven't watched the video but as far coupled mags goes the firebird Pmag coupler is my top choice.
  3. What is your budget for this rifle? Stag 3G or DPMS 3G1 if you are looking to stay on a budget. Otherwise JP, Firebird, Larue, or Noveske are top of the line rifles but will cost you some more coin.
  4. Can you elaborate more on what you did to the trigger
  5. Depending on what the rest of the stage is like, you can use a tighter choke to get more shot on it.
  6. I got Seeklanders book, it is a good read and has plenty of great training topics in there. If a beginner were to follow his dry fire routine, they would improve their skills without a doubt.
  7. If the JM 930's prove to be solid out of the box and the only thing that a guy has to throw at one is a welded lifter then Mossberg will sell a ton of them. Salient will def. sell their fair share even at that price point. There are several other smith's that are kicking out "full race" M2's for over $2K and I'm guessing that there are plenty of people that are paying money for them no questions asked. I really hope that this gun proves to run out of the box and stays at this price point. If it does then there will be one in my near future.
  8. Saw a video from SHOT of Lancers new 3gun rifle. Anybody know anything about the price on it yet?
  9. All lady would be fun to watch. Also we should take bets on when "celebrity top shot" will happen.
  10. JP also makes a side charging upper. They have one that is side charge only (SCR-11) that is non-reciprocating and one that is redundant with the side charge and normal T handle (PSC-11).
  11. Anyone tried the Under Armour speed freaks?
  12. I do wonder what the price would be and how they will do the purchasing process.
  13. Though I do not own one, I would roll with the prismatic were I to go that route. If they had BDC reticle I would really dig it.
  14. What kind of accuracy is the Stag putting out?
  15. I agree with you completely, but the question remains as to whether the "middle shelf" rifles provide the accuracy and reliability. And if they do, is it the same level of both as compared to the "top shelf" rifles.
  16. In the big picture of a dedicated 3 gun rifle how do the cards fall in regards to the top shelf (JP, Noveske, etc) compared to the middle shelf as I called it since they are certainly not bottom shelf rifles (Stag 3G, DPMS 3G1, etc) The cost difference is less than 1/2 to buy a new 3G compared to buying a new CTR-02. But is there a noticable difference in terms of accuracy, reliability, durability?
  17. All of a sudden I would be even more concerned with an AD while drawing!
  18. I have the surefire shot timer app and the Tauras shot timer app. They work great for setting par times for dry fire practice. As far as picking up shots during live fire, I don't think that I would trust them to be as accurate as a normal timer.
  19. Maybe the gun is acting that way since it is embarrassed that it has pink rounds in it? Sorry I have nothing constructive to add, but couldn't resist...
  20. It is the more simple for install and removal. No tools needs!
