  1. Bryan, do you think it would fit that way with a scoped rifle?
  2. Do you carry the rifle and SG together in the main weapon compartment, or do you use the scabbard attached to the side of the pack?
  3. Thanks sirveyr, I kind of figured by some of the reviews that those two were a bit on the cheap side. Wishful thinking for the price point.
  4. I apologize for not being clear enough. I already have a double weapon bag. I am looking for a separate pack to put some stuff in. Similar is size or style to the two links that I provided in the OP. Thanks for all the reply's though as is.
  5. I am looking for a pack to use to lug around my stuff at matches. Ammo, mag's, snacks, whatever I bring. I was looking at these two in cheaper than dirt. Anybody have any 1st hand experience with either? If you have something else that works feel free to post a pic or link. Thanks http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/PACK125-1.html http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/ItemDetail.aspx?sku=MOLLE-980&ingb=Y
  6. Anything that is under $300/K that is not Wolf, Brownbear, etc is not bad pricing for .223. I roll my own so I go that route.
  7. Think of everything that Bubba from Forest Gump talked about in regards to shrimp. Then just substitute whatever it is you are cooking and add the dust to that recipe and you are golden!
  8. That is something that I may have to try. Does the brim of the hat show up in the camera at all?
  9. Multigun is primarily what I shoot. That is why I don't care for muffs, I don't get a good cheek weld with the rifle or SG with muffs, or when I do it knocks them off enough that the weight of the camera on the hat shifts all my stuff around and I end up having to take the time to adjust it all.
  10. Spanky, that stays on you head without moving? I have a very similar setup (looks way more reckneck than yours) and the camera is heavy enough that when I run alot the hat gets pulled down too much. On a side note what did you use for the wedge to angle it up? I used two plastic door stop wedges and some super duper strong velcro and super glue...works the same but yours looks way cooler!
  11. Thanks for the reply. Yeah I have seen the headband in action and I am not at all impressed with it. At least for our game anyways.
  12. I have a ContourHD and I really like the camera. I have used several different mounting options up to this point including mounting to my muffs, to the brim of my hat, etc. but they all end up involving using the muffs to either mount the camera or hold down the hat due to the weight of the camera. The problem is that I really don't like wearing muffs. I have custom molded plugs and prefer wearing them. Can anyone think of a viable option for using this camera without muffs?
  13. Do pretty everything Braxton listed, and, pay a good smith $100 to do whatever slide lightening you want, spend 100-200 on an aftermarket trigger (choose which one) and you still will be $500 ahead of the game.
  14. I have one and have used it at a few matches, including the proam and ozark. I have the rifle mag mounted horizontal. The function of the system has been great, I have no problems getting either the pistol or rifle mag out of the holder. The only drawbacks that I see with it is how far it puts the weight off your body. 2 140mm mag's full of .40 and being pulled off your body that far want to pull alot harder when you put running into the picture. I use several belt keepers and don't worry about it, but if you were to use this and were to rely on velcro alone to hold your belt up I think the odds would be very good of you doing the dreaded gun belt hula-hoop dance.
  15. I fondled one at the ProAm, they look very nice. I'm still undecided between one of them and the Lancer for my next gun.
  16. CPWSA has one on their site. Not sure if it the one you guys are looking for?
  17. This set up would be used for 3 gun
  18. Which guide rod are you running in yours?
  19. I was looking at the Zev tech tungsten GR for the Gen4's. It appears that it is the same as for the Gen3, but you use some type of reducing ring. Anyone have any experience with these? Pro's, con's, something better?
  20. You can't go wrong with the Blade-tech

    iPhone 5

I hope they get them out soon. My 3G is starting to do weird things and I don't know how much longer it is going to hold on.
  22. Match announcements are posted on this site. If there are going to be any around that time, they will be posted here. http://wisconsinshooters.com/joomla/
