  1. What a class act. She died on New Years Eve so that we will remember her each new year.
  2. Good point All red dot, holo, and scopes are set at optical infinity. If you don't need a distance correction, you don't need an rx for shooting.
  3. You have options. The reason you can't get a good result with glasses using on eye for distance and one for near, is that you are dealing with an image size problem. If the eyes are seeing two different size images the brain can't put them together. You are better off getting fit with contact lenses. No image size problem. I have found that the best solution with shooting glasses is to put a bifocal lens on the top for your dominant eye. This way you just need to drop your head slightly to see your sights. The prescription must be set to the distance that you will be seeing your sights. NoSteel's idea is good but would require you to get used to a progressive lens. That would require full time wear off the range. I don't think that you are ready for that yet. Find a doctor that shoots for more ideas.
  4. Thanks for sharing that Trace. It's tough to post a mistake that you made, but you did it to help others. Shows real character. Happy Holidays brother.
  5. 9 years. Seems like yesterday. These are my people. They deserve to be remembered.
  6. Now we have 4 posts, brother Elitist.
  7. For those of you who are confused about Friday Flame Wars, let me explain. Friday.... A day of the week. The day before Saturday and the day after Thursday. Flame... burn and give off flames. War... Engage in a war Now that we have that straight,...It's Friday...Flame on...War has been declared. Any questions please message Flexmoney.
  8. You can use the corn cob bedding for small animals such as ferrets. I use the ground walnut shells. The corn cob can get stuck in a small cases such as a 9mm and can stick in primer holes if you deprime before you clean.
  9. Experience? We don't need no stinkin' experience. My gunsmith kit has 3 tools. A 1lb, a 2lb and a 3lb hammer.
  10. Those people who think that they know everything are annoying the hell out us that do.
  11. I hate it when I declare Flame War and no one comes. Have the BEnos members become such lethargic, callous snowflakes that they can ignore such a challenge? As Kahn said,"...to the last I grapple with thee; from hell's heart I stab at thee; for hate's sake I spit my last breath at thee.." Flame War has been declared, snowflakes!
  12. It's Saturday. War was declared and only one soldier showed up. Good flame for next week.
  13. It seems that the only thing we don't have a shortage of is people bitching about shortages.
  14. AT was one of the first people who helped me when I shot my first Level 2 in Kentucky. I had the pleasure of going out to dinner with him and his wife. He once decided not to shoot a match because he felt that his balance was off and he might be a danger to others. He still helped run the match. Safety first, ego last. He will be very missed. RIP
  15. Natchez has Federal LPP, mag LPP. magSPP, LPP match
  16. I blame climate change, shortage of primers, Russia and COVID on the lack of Flame Wars. The Apocalypse is upon us.
  17. Are you using lube? I found that my 650 resizes with ease when I use lube. I have a MBF and case feeder and can easily run the machine even with a sore shoulder.
  18. Natchez has Federal Large and small Federal pistol and rifle primers now. No BS 1000 primer max. Ordered 5000 each of pistol. https://outdoors.natchezss.com/products/reloading-primers
  19. 1. They absolutely must be kept clean 2. If they are leaving marks like yours is, then time to clean. Especially check that crimp. It's tearing up the edge of your brass. The edge should be smooth and even. 3. If you're getting sticking and are using a lube, time to clean. 4. After a few thousand rounds I wipe out the dies. I don't take them apart. After 10-15k rounds you need a good inspection and cleaning.
