  1. N-320 will work well for all 3. My other go to powder is Winchester 231. Both meter well in the Dillon and shoot cleanly.
  2. it looks like there are 5 positions on the toolhead, so I'm guessing the following: From this statement it looks like you need to read up on how to use your press. I would suggest posts here and YouTube. There are many useful videos. Don't buy anything until you get a broader knowledge base. There are many threads here on using the Dillon presses. The dies for the 750 are the same as the 650. Here's a start..
  3. Next time order a spare. Same shipping fee.
  4. You would save a bunch of time by letting your 650 do all the work. Depriming on another press is not really necessarily. It's very easy to clean the 650. Just clean your used brass as usual and dump in the case feeder hopper.
  5. Welcome Pappy. The addiction begins.
  6. Check which browser you are using. In the meantime, try rebooting the browser. I use chrome on my PC without a problem.
  7. Newtown CT is now on the third day of no electricity.Ct is 75% out. Anyone else got hit by this storm? Edited to Isaias compliments of Sarge
  8. Welcome. You bring a wealth of new experiences and skills to the Forums. I look forward to reading your upcoming posts.
  9. I haven't gone shooting in quite a while. I grabbed some ammo from my shelf and headed to the range. I started shooting the Deagle 50. Why? Because I love shooting it. I then started shooting the CZ Shadow. So far so good. I then started shooting the Baer 45. Two mags in, I get a click and no boom. So I slap, rack and just before the boom part, I hear a voice yelling, STOP!. I glance down and see that the ejected shell has no bullet. I know darn well that I didn't load an empty piece of brass into my mag. I break the gun down and damn...there' a bullet in the barrel. The next round had chambered and I could have pulled the trigger with disastrous results. The ammunition was a box of about 30 rds that I had from a while ago. I had a squib then and thought that I had pulled all of the bullets from that batch. This was from when I had first switched to the 650. I wasn't used to auto progress of the shell plate. With the 550 I could stop in the middle of a handle pull and not have the case move on. I've gotten the hang of it now but I must have missed the last of my problem loads. The interesting part of this story is that when I heard STOP, I looked around thinking that it was an RO yelling at me. I was alone on the range.

  11. Not sure about the prices are down under, but the fixed motor is about $75 and the variable motor upgrade kit is offered at Double Alpha for $139.
  12. It's been quite a while since we had a new MOM. It's not that we don't have worthy members. It's just been very busy lately. It's time to remedy that. Recently a member has been nominated for the MOM award. He has been a member since 2016. One of his first posts was offering to lend some equipment to a newbie. The majority of his posting is to help others with good advice. He is always available for help with anything, from which gun to use to interpretation of rules. Since joining, he has acquired an almost 1500 post count. Post counts are the least of the criteria when selecting an MOM, unless those posts are ALL to help others. So many of us post to ask for help. This member is all about answering those posts for help. Please join Brian and the Moderators in congratulating our latest MOM award winner..MikeBurgess.
  13. I know that this isn't for a medium box. I read that 2000 rds fit a medium.
  14. I don't have a 1050 but it sounds like the screws holding the platform to the ram may have loosened and thrown off the timing. Also make sure that the shell plate bolt is tightened correctly.
  15. Moved from the I Hate Forum. Members can benefit from continued posting about carpal tunnel problems and solutions. This seems to be a problem that affects competitive shooters.
  16. "50yd head shot one handed while diving a motorcycle out the back of a airplane" That's only for IPSC.
  17. Welcome. We love a good sense of humor here. Posting is like reloading. Check your load before you pull the trigger and you'll be fine.

  19. The post is from 2010. I'd say that it has turned into a discussion by now.
  20. I do not do the procedure. The majority of my patients who have had it done are adults. As we get older the extra ocular muscles can atrophy and cause a double vision. Initially prism glasses work. As time goes on, the amount of prism needed can be too much. I always refer out to someone like Dr Mathias for a consult.
  21. Surgery is an option but has anyone mentioned Bupivacaine injections? My patients have had a great deal of success with this. The injection helps realign the muscles. It wears off after about 3 months but by then you usually don't need a second injection. It all depends on amount of eye turn. This paper was about a surgeon that I co-manage surgery with , Dr Stephen Mathias. https://www.healio.com/news/ophthalmology/20170404/bupivacaine-seen-as-alternative-to-strabismus-surgery
  22. Good to have you on board. Lots of great information here. Kneelingatlas is one of our best authorities on Tanfoglios.
