  1. Sometimes it's just a feeling that something is wrong. Sometimes the RO will catch it. Sometimes you see an empty case being ejected and ask yourself why would you have loaded an empty case. Sometimes(if you're lucky) the next rd won't chamber because the squib is stuck too close to allow another bullet in the barrel. As far as going fast in competition, there is such a thing as going too fast. Being nervous about a squib is good. It should motivate you to be very careful when loading. Stay safe.
  2. Tap Rack Bang drills. Sometimes the mag is not fully inserted or you have a light strike etc. Slap the mag on the bottom to check that it's seated then rack the slide to clear the chamber and reset a new bullet. Fire. Just be careful to listen for a squib. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=35fz5j9LiX0
  3. Great offer. It's what we have come to expect from a BEnos MOM. Thank you on behalf of the Forums.
  4. Any more political posting will get this thread closed. Please follow the Forums guidelines. Restricted ContentPoliticsPolicy and political discussions or debates of any kind - even if you consider your opinions to be "facts" - are not welcome anywhere in the Forums. This is not a free speech issue. As a privately funded and collectively ran "information exchange," we have found that the emotional nature of political discussions weakens the informative impact of the Forums.
  5. Primers!? What are these things they call "primers"?
  6. Why are you breaking down the 9mm? How much is a large quantity?
  7. Welcome Sig. "My goal is if I'm not working, is to be shooting, fishing or reloading". Well said.
  8. Click on your name in the upper right corner. You will see a drop down menu with content and settings. Under settings is " ignored users". You can use this to ignore anyone.
  9. Welcome to the community of competent people. Cheers.
  10. This Hate rant has turned into a discussion, which is beyond the bounds of the rules for the Hate Forum. Thus, it must be closed. Please review the Hate Forum Rules:http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=8097[note: this is a generic response]
  11. Good advice so far. I would like to add that with a different load and bullet weight, you can change the recoil effects to more suit your tastes. Snappy recoil vs push recoil .
  12. Welcome to the forums. What grips are those?
  13. This issue has been thoroughly discussed in other threads. Also, if you have a complaint about a seller or store, please contact them directly.
  14. Before this goes any further, I think that it's time to remind everyone of the guidelines about attitude.... AttitudePlease be polite. Or if not polite, at least respectful. No bickering. Regardless of the subject matter.Antagonistic, offensive, or quarrelsome tones are not acceptable. BEnos is a place to learn and share, not to be scolded. Thank you.
  15. As I sit here with a glass of Bushmills, I had an epiphany. I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but it takes more time to load ammunition than it does to shoot it. Weird, right? I think there should be a new law about this. It can be a fourth law of thermodynamics. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
  16. Sex... Is available to do where I live in San Antonio..........It's available all over the country. I'm sure it's being done in San Antonio NOT on a Sunday.......OK. Even God rested on the 7th day. That I haven't done before.........Only you can answer this one. Is physical in some way....... Oh yeah. Way physical Isn't a team sport........ It can be but usually isn't. Doesn't have onerous gear requirements.......maybe a small toy or two and a bottle of wine Has both a recreational and competitive side.......... You can keep score if you want it to be competitive. There you go. It meets all of your requirements. Enjoy !
  17. With all the craziness surrounding this last election, we forget why we had the freedom to vote in the first place. Men and women have served and died to defend our rights. The next time you protest, vote or bitch about politics, remember who gave you that freedom. Remember who died to give you that freedom. Never forget.
  18. Toss powder!? Never. I just dump what's left of the old into the new. I never let the powder run down to less than a full reservoir. Too little can change your powder throws due to less gravity flow. You can re chrono your loads just to make sure that there are no changes.
