  1. At that time, and up until recently, there was nothing that compared - this is all 2nd hand info, it was before my time shooting competitively
  2. I've heard - to specifically outlaw the JP tank brake.
  3. The reason we have the single gun stages - hopefully they will give you some insight on which gun you may need work on compared to the others in your division. If you consistently finish in the same place, shooting all 3 guns it's hard to find where you might be losing time. 3 single gun stages will hopefully show you a weakness, and give a direction to move in training. Thanks for supporting the match, hope to see you next year.
  4. Thanks guys, we try and put on a match we would want to shoot. While all RO's make mistakes, and occasionally maybe not the best attitude. We think we have some of the best out there. It finally caught up with me today, about 2-3 o clock I actually thought a nap would be nice ( first time in longer than I can remember). 2 weeks of 14-18 hour days gets to an old man. LOL
  5. Who Doesn't like MS paint drawing (my first attempt - hey it's 5 am what do you expect?) LOL Here's a basic range layout, probably raise more questions than answered. I included 2 sizes , we'll see if this works
  6. Yes, out to 250yds a BC at 200 andd 250 Paper stands available for closer Bring your own targets
  7. Counting down the days, local RO's shot Sat/Sun, others will be shooting Thurs/Fri. Going to be a TON of fun ! BTW I think 2 slots available if anyone can travel on short notice.
  8. 99% of the time when I get pulled over it's legit, and I have no problem accepting whatever the officer decides, I rarely pulled over and even more rare to get a ticket. After it was over my shooting buddies immediately commented on, the fact that he knew why we were there, and how unprofessional he was.
  9. If I remember correctly he asked if we were shooting the match as one of the first things he said. Went downhill from there.
  10. With changing work schedules, and life in general happening, we have 3 slots open for the match. If you or a friend want in, now is the time. We have several who due to work schedules will be shooting with the RO's/Staff, thus giving you an opportunity
  11. Something to think about with the VMax
  12. Exactly that, he ESTIMATED my speed, parked about 50' past where the speed limit changed he knew we were in the area shooting a 3 gun match when I asked if he could help me out a bit on the ticket, his reply - "Just be glad I didn't give you more than 1 ticket" He was an all around prick the whole time. Probably the worst LEO interaction I ever had.
  13. My experience in TX was the exact opposite.
  14. We have a guy who has to drop out due to work schedule and needs to sell his slot, CONTACT me for his info if you want to shoot this match, you will pay him instead of us. Also may have a slot or 2 available from the unused sponsor slots.
  15. There is a lot of prone, crawling through stuff, climbing in/over stuff, I do it for protection of my optic. My FF lll had a big dent/bend in the hood from banging into 'stuff ' when I kept it in my speed rig.
  16. The lower the better, you will most likely hate a 'on top' mounted RDS. Get the smallest one you can, milled into the slide. You will love it.
  17. Yes, after seeing their holsters we contacted them to make our drop leg holsters for our big stick shotgun mags. They work equally well to hold 10's 18's 23's & 28 round mags
  18. We will be releasing the last few reserved sponsor slots to the general public, if you want to shoot this match signup now. Also if you can't shoot the main match because of schedule conflicts, we will be allowing a few to shoot through with the RO's sponsors the weekend before, or Wed/Thurs, before the match.
  19. Yes bring a rifle sling, there will be 1, or more, stages that will require it.
  20. We may have a couple of unused/reserved sponsor slots released for the general public soon, so there is still a last chance entry possible. We also have a few spots open to shoot the match early, with the Staff/sponsors, if your schedule does not allow the weekend of March 18-19. One more thing, IF you are able to make it "last minute" there is usually a few who withdraw a day or so before the match, we MIGHT be able to get you in that way.
  21. I leave mine pretty dirty, for the above stated reasons. Really only clean it when I'm showing the gun to customers. Most people look at me like when I tell them I don't look through the RDS , I look at the target. I can't explain it any better in person
  22. We recommend leaving it in place, and using a small flat blade screwdriver or allen wrench. Pull the accessible side down, put the tool in at the top and apply a slight pressure down, which will easily hold the entire slide release down . Enabling you to remove the slide. just slightly harder than without the Thumb rest
