  1. Model 28, SSR.......big heavy 125 PF ammo......
  2. I am glad I wasn't the only one that has been checking a tracking number from Bobby all week long! looks great, hope to pick up my new SS gun this weekend, that he shipped last week.
  3. My buddy is having the exact same trouble you describe, same mags different gun, gun is a Wilson CQB 9mm, thinking they need to settle for a while before they are reliable to re-load 10
  4. Mine did that once a few months ago, kept putting in fresh mags and they fall right back out. took about three before I realized what happened. fooled around with it on a safe bench during the match didn't see anything wrong with the catch, just figure it was a fluke. curious what you figure out, I was thinking maybe a stiffer spring?
  5. I went to the website, no info posted for dates, anyone get any info? I really enjoy this match. Jason
  6. I am currently shooting L10, because I got a slot for Natls L10/Open and I normally shoot single stack so it was easy to buy the 10 rd mags, and be competitive. We need the division for a few reasons: new shooters with single action type guns that max capacity at 9/14 rounds just are not competitive in limited. and if they are new shooters shooting .40, or .45 they are likely shooting major PF, and should be given the advantage of the points difference.rather than forced to shoot minor in production division, also the gear, we have lots of new shooters show up with a holster a mag pouch and use front and rear pockets for extra mags, this is not legal in production. 6" barrel single stacks? bull barrel single stacks? browning HP? CZ ? sig 220 division would make for a much larger Membership card at the end of the day there is usually ten times as many shooters in L10 division than Revolver, and we still love that division (myself included)
  7. Chuck is right, that's why I left California (plus the job offer) but now I find my self shooting Revo and single stack mostly....Ironic?
  8. not really a 2011, but there used to be a double stack Para Ordinance that had a LDA trigger and was on the approved list? about as close as you are going to get to what your asking for (I think) J-
  9. Chuck, lets meet in Yuma, Matchmasters is always a good time in July/August!
  10. tempted.....now I decided to take an extra day off and go shoot Rio, but just looked at the calendar, doesnt look like they have anything either, being its a fifth saturday any other ideas?
  11. Yeah, I was hoping for something closer, since Tucson was already taking me two hours north.......but Rio is awesome
  12. I will be around Tucson the last weekend of this month, I already checked SAPS (tucson rifle club) and the Pima pistol club, doesnt look like anything going on there, any where else (USPSA Pistol preferred) Jason
  13. sounds like fun, I will be there soon as I can, I also convinced a friend to come out and shoot his first uspsa match, so if you see a couple of guys that look lost, come say hi, thanks again for the info!
  14. I am going to be in tucson tomorrow, is there any uspsa matches? the links bring me to phoenix? anything in qtucson tomorrow? where and when?thanks
  15. I replaced mine some time back, I don't remember how, but it was not difficult, maybe an hour? what problems are you having?
  16. the big key here is wether or not the engine is "injected" oil or pre-mix, and the oil can be made specifically for one or the other, but a few oils (Redline) can be used in both pre-mix and synthetic.
  17. This business belongs to a buddy of mine, they build a lot of cool custom tactical type gear, and accessories, and cater to the military type, (camoflauge gear / AR15's etc.) http://www.aresarmor.com/ They do have a really cool Compensator that might work for 3 gun? check them out.
  18. I have done something similar in the past, and the only complaint I got was from the open shooters saying very difficult to find the dot on the red poppers, I was shooting open also, and had no problems, but I can see how the time of day and factor the sunglare might oppose a challenge, but I say go for it.
  19. Although I have no actual Toyota experience, I do have 20 plus years working on general Motors Vehicles, A few questions I would have would be: 1. Is it an interference type engine( valves could hit pistons, if out of time/belt breaks etc.) 2. how was the compression test performed? (fuel system disabled properly, so as not to wash the rings with fuel, throttle body held wide open to allow proper intake) 3. was a "wet" compression test also performed? (normally adding a small amount of oil to the cylinders) 4. Was the timing belt possibly installed "180 out" meaning it was not on #1 top dead center (oops, and my best guess)
  20. thanks for all the help, have some good leads to check out
