Try squeezing it in a little. I'm currently testing this right now but didn't have the problem you have but did notice the area being bigger. I've got my test magazine at .44" at that point and the front of feed lips at .395" and rear feed lips at .385". I can get paper between round and front of mag body on both sides. I had problems with MBX. They just didn't work in my gun 100%. STI Gen II mags with TTI spring follower and base pads 21 reloadable with no problems. 2k rounds as of today. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I just got a .40 STI G2 tube with TTI spring follower and 4mm base pad. Feed lips where adjusted to .385" in rear and .395" in the front. Body is .941" thick at top and .940" thick at bottom. 21 rounds reloadable with proper competitive/ positive insertion. Pretty easy. Will test over the next 3 months before using in any matches. My maglula did need to be filed on a little to accommodate the top of magazine to keep from sticking. Works just fine now. Complete magazine cost $115.88 including shipping from TTI. Dawson shipped tube free. Hope these new STI bodies work for me as my gun didn't like the MBX as the would nose dive occasionally. My old style STI 20 round reloadable mags have been reliable but want to have a couple 21's in my tool bag. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You stated it happens about 1 out of 4 cases. Mark your shell plate when it happens and see if it's always the same location or maybe 2 locations. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Have you tried another shell plate? May try readjusting the station #1 resizing die. Loosen it and pull handle down on brass and tighten. Make sure to keep the die just shy of touching shell plate. Let us know what you do find that fixes it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Trace, read about gun purchases with PayPal. I was told they will freeze account and possibly keep the funds if used to purchase or sell firearm. My FFL had it happen to him. READ carefully the PayPal fine print. This may be bad second hand information but want you to error on the safe side. Let us know what you find out. I do use PayPal a lot though. Can't go wrong with MO or cashiers check for firearm purchases.
