  1. Considering you live only 90 minutes away, maybe you ought to check the local USPSA club's schedule and plan an overnight or weekend trip there. It would give you a chance to check the range, city, and surrounding area. I wish i can. nonetheless, Im reserving my trip there when i attend the area 1 next year...
  2. i wish i can but i can tell you...from 2010 up to 2012 i have seen and met more international shooters...
  3. More and more international shooters are attending the Nationals when the Nationals are in Vegas.. Just like someone have said... better airfare, food, lodging, shopping, bring the family, gun friendly, no rain, etc. about st. george, i have not gone there yet.. so i do not know if it can handle the amount of shooters... not talking about the range but lodging, etc.
  4. try this tip...i know it's for the holster but you get the point...
  5. Somehow when i was shooting at the Nationals back to back, i felt i was the only one with a different plan...In all the stages (except standards) i could easily come up with 3 or more ways of shooting it. But i always make it a point that i manage the risk...
  6. It's the same thing that Rob Leatham preaches all the time... it's never going to be the time... It all comes down to points... assuming everyone will be close to each other in time...
  7. Very humble guy.... The words he said to me before the match was " I promise to shoot good.....I hope i be good.... "
  8. I always wanted to start shooting revo but i do not know where to start...
  9. Always makes me laugh when someone tells me that my loads are minor... "as they say... my pistol does not recoil that much"....i would be more than welcome to chrono my load in front of them anytime.... before the 2011 nationals, someone ask if he can shoot my pistol for a few rounds... lo and behold... the recoil must have been 4"-5" high from the muzzle...i never change my load and last year my chrono at the nationals was 174pf ..all i can say is... my grip pressure is a lot more than yours...lol...
  10. 10-15 minutes from Desert Sportsman (USPSA Nationals Venue 2009-2012)depending on the traffic lights...lol...
  11. I would rather shoot well to win than to win and not sure if i shot well or not...
  12. Mentally i am Champion in my own right at the same time i paint my own canvas...
  13. practice what you have ... using 1 platform to compete in two divisions are always a plus... if your single stack can be reliable in L10 so be it.... not only that you are using the same rig all the time...just buy yourself magazines for single stack so it can fit in the box and you'll be ok...
  14. I have been using 12.5 for a long time.... but i am setlling for a 14 these days... maybe my eyes are getting quick...but thats just me...
  15. There are coolers filled with ice and water bottles in each bay... Be hydrated it's a desert out here....

  19. One of the stages last year in the National were using our local 6" square....
  20. Make it great, no matter how long it takes. There’s no such thing as too many drafts. There’s no such thing as too much time spent. As you well know, a great book can last forever. A great book can change a person’s life. A mediocre book is just commerce. Be personal as if you are talking to us. Be candid but straight forward...as most importantly - Be humble...
  21. IMHO it would be illegal... per 22.2 Grips – any addition or removal of material which changes the factory profile...
  22. Now we have once a month on Saturday and every other week on Sundays....But i really prefer Saturday every week...
