  1. Not a single problem with them... Small rifle magnum may be too hard for someone but i have used them on my limited and single stack pistols....they all go bang...
  2. I've been using ipad2 and Galaxy....I would go with galaxy...
  3. If you can find knurled knobs for the 771's, then i'll go with them since i adjust them depending on the stage given. I've tried cr speed but felt really stable with 771. Again, it depends on what division you are playing as well as how you place them on your belt (angled, upright, etc.)...
  4. Stability is key... I think you'll find a stage in the last single stack national where you are seated and you have to get the pistol in the briefcase. Imho. Standing up would be the best way...
  5. It's okay. I've got a Dillon, we'll get together and reload this weekend.... LOL!!!!
  6. Yagi

    Which one?

Android. iPad2 or galaxy tab 10.1?
  7. Major or minor? What type of gun? Thanks
  8. If i am not mistaken there was an article in the front regarding a norco guy shooting OPEN (i think) with no sights... Nonetheless, even without the sights you still have a reference when aiming with no sights...
  9. I call this "planting the seed" and let it grow in your head. Its probably the most common head game. But at the same time, most people plant seeds in peoples heads with out meaning to. When you see the Super Squad shoot all the stages at nationals there is alot of mind games going on. You just need to laugh it off and just shoot your game. So true!!! Even the way they walk the stages, the way they dry fire is part of their mind games... Next thing you know when they shoot the stages it's way different from the way they acted or position when dry fired.
  10. If i had to do it all over again. I would just the top shelf parts i want and send it to a trusted gunsmith..
  11. Single Stack 6.94 seconds Drop one charlie made 1 follow up shot on the first steel on the left. Lousy draw and reload...puts me in 7.0605HF... it's been a while since i've shot this gun... i am still D in Single Stack...
  12. my magazine from Brazos can load 21 rounds easy.... sti body, grams follower...dawson basepad....
  13. don't concern about 0.005" difference... what's important is - it feeds reliably....
  14. one advantage is less powder....just like SIG shooter says....for me it depends on what gun i'm using... if it's my glock then i'll go with my 147gr... but if it's an sti on a 9mmm i'll go with my 124gr... i like different divisions and most of the time i change from lighter gun to heavy gun... one thing i may suggest to you is make test loads on different weights and see where you like most... everybody has different grip strength and everybody has different guns... you just have to pick which one you are comfortable with. accuracy and speed will come to you naturally...3.5 to 3.6 on 147 will get me at 131-134pf... on a solo 1000
  15. There are a lot of semi auto pistol out there under your budget. What's important is how comfortable are you with it? plastic vs. metal? heavy vs. light? 9 vs .40 vs. 45? These are some questions you need to ask? What competition are you planning? Production ? limited? single stack? limited 10? bianchi? I believe it's always the indian and not the arrow... Just my 2 cents...
  16. Sometimes Range Officers will conduct equipment check. From right there they'll give you a warning if your equipment is not applicable to your division...and writes a warning on your scorecard...if not, they'll just bump you to open... then the hassle of arbitration comes in.... Buy yourself a cheap barney mag would be the best thing....
  17. on a glock 17 ... sorry double post..
  18. 3.5 gr. Solo 1000 on 147... 130-133pf
  19. i use longshot for my open glock...
  20. go buy the Single stack so we can go to Barry or Western State... Or use some money for World Shoot....
