  1. some other matches have had bonus targets such as clays activated by a popper, hit it- xseconds or a target at +X yards on a long rifle stage -x seconds both would be treated a disappearing targets not really in favor but I cannot give you a reason. maybe a little gimmicky? slung weapons adds a degree of difficulty. Are you going to need ROs for the match and how would that work?
  2. I use the dawson Ice for the Large Backstrap as I have a Gen4 G34 and have not decided on which bacstrap yet. The one for the large will work with no, medium or large backstrap.
  3. 13, 14 or 15 lb spring. find out what works for you and your load. no experience with those triggers.
  4. 8-10 stages slung weapons shooter's choice on targets use the longe range bay to 4-500 back bay with flying clays, a van or car to start in. Slugs to 100 yards pistol to 50 yards quality over quantity par time on the stages. Shannon's 3 gun matches are always fun, just too few stages
  5. I was shooting (poorly) the same match With fire clean on all 3 guns and no issues. Well with the fire clean at least
  6. Do you have a budget in mind? Stag 3G is pretty much good to go If you're looking to buy versus build Just add an optic.

  13. I actually just got off the phone with them. I broke the old, different throw lever and ordered one of these when they became available. Unfortunately I need something by the 13th of Feb and no way will it be here. So I had to cancel and got one of the regular ones for 3 times the price. I was told they are looking a the middle of Feb to start shipping, maybe.
  14. Jager http://jagerproducts.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=35&products_id=90 and they sell the springs also. the 13lb imsi works pretty well with 147gr 135~PF ammo
  15. Guess I should have specified. On Taran's site: http://tarantacticalinnovations.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=110_106

  19. OP, This gets asked frequently. most common answers are Taran Warren/Sevigny Dawson Heine not necessarily in that order
  20. Daniel, I thought Taran only offered the .220 front? What is the other size and can it be ordered independently. Thanks
  21. Whats the end state gain in that? I have limited exposure but at my club USPSA/IDPA/Steel Challenge are all there is. I think it would close without those. Are there clubs that want to focus on cowboy action and hunting rifle sighting in? What else makes money? Trap and skeet would be my guess, at least at the range Nimitz is referring to.
  22. Shooters source also has them http://www.theshooterssource.com/black-extended-nordic-tubes-p-20082.html
  23. Travis, I would and will build a dedicated belt for each type of shooting event. For USPSA I would go with the DAA belt and your choice of Mag pouch- CR, DAA, Ghost etc
  24. I have some of Larger pads for 3gun, maybe limited minor if I ever try that i was considering replacing those and just getting several of the small tarans the 2 round difference does not seem to be a deal breaker.
