  1. Joe, I'm doing that now with my Lee resizing dies.
  2. Joe, And your point is? "Gosh, most the .40 brass I reload has come from stock barreled Glocks. I must be doing something wrong."
  3. Big Dave, You are correct the price does include the frame.
  4. I have never had to break in any of the 7 KKM barrels that I own. Having said that though I would suggest you contact KKM directly. http://www.kkmprecision.com/info.asp
  5. Let's see +60K rounds on a G34 and +75K on a G35 and still going strong. Vanek has the Eveready Bunny of triggers.
  6. I've been using 3 (G17, G34, G35) so far with no problems. I would call Tom directly and ask him who else carries his magazine well.
  7. The CGR sells various THE Accessories guide rods Tungsten extended, Standard Tungsten and Standard Stainless Steel. You could use either tungsten guide rods in USPSA/IPSC (L10. Limited, Open) but not in IDPA. http://www.custom-glock.com/rodtech.html http://www.gunracing.com/Qstore/Qstore.cgi...007A1B0000001B1 For IDPA I would use the stainless guide rod or use your original Glock recoil spring assembly. Regarding spring weight I completely agree with Matts recomendation http://www.custom-glock.com/springtech.html
  8. You know it’s rather interesting I just measured my CGR Buried Bomar’s and my Dawson sights for Glock and the rear notch is actually .002 larger on the Dawson sight. Also I keep looking at rear sight and the only light is see is through the notch from underneath nothing. BTW, I and others have been using the Dawson sights and Bomar’s in USPSA and Steel matches and the Dawson’s have taken the same level of abuse that my Bomar’s have. On a side note the only reason I have buried Bomar’s on my Glock’s is because at the time that was the only option available if you wanted an adjustable rear sight that didn’t stick out from the slide.
  9. I have them all and for FML in the 140 length I recommend Arredondo for NFML TF. If you have a need for 170 lengths then TF is the only option out there for NFML and FML.
  10. CGR has done the buried Bomar’s on one of my G34's and a G35 the job that they did was second to none. Having said that today I would recommend the Dawson Precision front and back sights for Glock since they are drop in and they even provide the tools so you can install them yourself. BTW, Novaks Handgunner Outlet also does buried Bomar's. http://www.handgunneroutlet.net/whatsnew/LowBomar.htm
  11. Trey, Here’s the info you requested COAL: 1.125 (Glock) Bullet: 180 Grain Montana Gold RSFP (Prefered) or Golden West TC (Local Jacketed Bullet Manufacturer) Powder: Hodgdens Longshot but I'm reverting back to N320
  12. Joe, The loads that I was using for 9x19 were between 110 and 115 PF. I would have to get back to my notes on the 40 S&W loads.
  13. I currently own three CR Speed Holster of which two my sons are now using the other is stored in a drawer. The reason I no longer use them is because of the Ultimate Ghost Holster. It's by far that best holster I have ever used with my Open and Limited Glocks.
  14. I have found that I can make Steel loads that will function reliably in my 17 and 22 but these same loads wont cycle my 34 or 35 even when I am using ISMI's 13 or Wolffs 12 pound springs.

    OAL for G35 KKM

300lbgorilla, You hit the nail on the head this fellow will be limited to the maximum OAL that the Glock magazine allows. Now if it were a 1911 he could find some loads for 40S&W Long in the Laser Cast reloading manual.
  16. Maybe DAG is using a small frame Glock configured for a 9x19 major load. I find FLAshooters spring problem to be rather interesting since none of my Glock's will fire if the slide hasnt gone into full battery.
  17. You guessed correctly it was built on a 3 pin G17 frame. For my 9x19 Major load I mainly use Montana Gold's 125 grain 357 SIG bullet with a COAL of 1.150 and N350.

    Glock 35

You might want to consider Arredondo but then again you might have sticker shock when you find that all the magazine extensions/basepads that are currently available in the market cost more than new standard capacity magazines… http://www.gunracing.com/Qstore/Qstore.cgi...007A1B0000001B1
  19. Based on what Dale has posted I actually changed my mind about buying this trigger. All of the under 2 pound trigger jobs that I have had done there has also been work done on the Trigger Housing since Rhea isn’t providing one then I don’t believe it's worth purchasing the GSSF Stock Legal trigger when one factors in the price of $195.00 and the primer limitation. Dale Rhea States: For best results I recommend Federal pistol primers. Parts list Trigger bar Trigger spring Connector Firing pin Firing pin spring Spring cups Spacer sleeve For example an apples to apples comparison CGR offers the Stock Racer trigger for $85.00 if you factor in the shipping which will run roughly $30.00 each way you still end up saving $50.00. http://www.gunracing.com/Qstore/Qstore.cgi...011&PROD=000040 CGR Stock Racer Trigger Price http://bb-enterprise.biz/item155865.ctlg Dale Rhea GSSF Trigger Price
  20. Tom, It's been my experience that the NFML tubes for 9mm and 40S&W will work with your 2nd design if you use the Taylor Freelance extensions
  21. I would like to see some clarification of existing rules for example what makes an infraction a procedural vs an FTDR Excerpt from LGB Competition Rule # 18 "A reload with a round still in the chamber (slide down) and abandoning any magazine, will result in a three (3) second procedural penalty, or possibly a twenty (20) second FTDR penalty
  22. It would depend on which division you wanted to compete in. For example in SSP I would replace the sight with the Dawson Precision sight for Glock http://www3.mailordercentral.com/shootings...s.asp?dept=1244 with a .100 front sight. Trigger job is not really required but it will help improve your scores. For ESP replace the sights get a SS guide rod from THE Accessories (use either a 15 or 17 pound ISMI spring) http://www.gunracing.com/Qstore/Qstore.cgi...011&PROD=000068 and the NHO SS magazine well http://www.handgunneroutlet.net/ another option is THE Accessories Brass Magazine Well http://www.gunracing.com/Qstore/Qstore.cgi...011&PROD=000019
  23. Rack & Roll Just out of curiosity where did you get your understanding about the Vanek triggers from? Rack & Roll States: I understand the Vanek needs Federal primers to be 100% reliable. While I dont own a RHEA trigger I plan on getting one for a NIB G34, Once I get it I will compare and contrast with my other Glock triggers. I have had trigger jobs from DMW, CGR, Novak and Vanek an I can state from personal experience that the Vanek trigger will light any primer even SMALL RIFLE when using a Glock factory slide. When I was using the Top Fuel trigger's in my 34 and 35 both of them worked reliably only with Federal Small pistol primers.
