Anybody know if someone makes a xd 40 service model reduced load spring? I am looking for a 16# spring, I can find the guide rods but only springs are at factory rate 17#.

+1 due to light loads. Had it this weekend, on 3 out of 5 stages. It was def change in "Boom" whne they would fire and not even make the slide come back. it was not every round just whenever, 2 in a row, 1 outta 10, etc. And yes I use/love slide glide and it was lubed. Just all due to weak powder charges. I have ran my xd40 service down to 126pf with no problems(all fact springs)

I say "Par for the course" I use 3.5 gr of TG and CCI Mag primers still get unburnt power on my arms when I shoot from a bench. Now during a match I have no idea, as powder can't stick to something moving the speed of sound.

Traveling to a Sat match, half way there the boss calls and a customer is brokedown. I call customer and he is 140 miles away from our shop, AAAAARRRGGGGHHHHHH. Call all dealers in his area no one can help until Monday. So the customer decides to have towed to our shop. Now I wasting my time waiting, for truck to arrive.
