Yes sounds like the hammer strut is not getting into the mainspring cup. Put the clip in and let the hammer down and then make sure the hammer strut is in the spring cup in the mainspring housing before you try to latch the mainspring housing.

4.1g of Solo does it for me!!!

2.6 or 2.7 should do it our of a 5" gun. I shoot them out of a Glock 34 and 17. Just love the soft recoil of the 160g lead and with solo the smoke is not bad at all.

I have one 34 with a BarSto and one with a KKM gunsmith fit. The after market barrels are more accurate but for this game it is not needed. Save your money buy more bullets, primers, powder!!!!!!

After the above mods the 34 will only be a Limited gun and it will be far from ideal for that. 9mm is scored minor in Limited as is hard to climb the ladder. If you don't care about getting any higher in classification and just shooting for the fun of it that is different. I am competitive and always trying to shoot better and get classified higher.

I just made it to A class but have been shooting several master scores. Finally it is all coming together and the practice is paying off. I am shooting quite a bit about 2k a month with 2 to 4 matches a month, dry firing some evenings. I shoot production and once in a while limited. My concentration was just good shooting skills, now I need to start working on moving skills. I really think many try to work on both at the same time is a mistake at least for me it just did not work.

I just timed my self on the plate rack today at 12 yards 3.35 seconds and 3.24 seconds with a 1 second to first shot. I shoot production A class.

I am shooting 160g round nose lead bullets out of a Glock 34 with a KKM gunsmith fit barrel and it will shoot 2" 10 shot groups at 30yards, have not shot it at 50.

Their website lists Wolf and CCI primers in stock but they say that "this item is for local pickup only". I was told they just have received there Haz mat and have not updated the web sight that is where I get my stuff from I always call and order primers and powder and they usually have it.

thebulletworks.net They do not show up on the web sight but they have some and more on the way.

Just talked to a friend of mine at thebulletworks.net they have primers on the way. He said that many of there back orders were filled on primers and powder and they would have a big supply.. Maybe the problems of no components is about to end.

I have 627s done by both and I like Mike's work best just a little crisper feeling but both are great to say the least.

I use 3.2 Grains of Solo 1000 for 148 grain lead bullets both in Round Nose Flat Base and Flat Point Bevel Base.

160g cast and 2.7g Solo 1000 so soft it's almost like cheating.

I used a Warren on the rear and a Dawson .105 by .215 F0 on the front and like it really well. It gives plenty of light between the front and rear for quick pickup.

I use the Dawson fixed sights because of the height of the adjustable sight. They make the front in many sizes so you can get a good zero and once there nothing to break or give problems.

You will only get one time out of your brass because I am going along behind you and putting it in my pocket.

Who ever buys 1000 bullets I always buy all the flat rate box will hold either 2,000 or 3000. When I buy primers I always buy all I can get on one haz. mat. which is usually 12 sleeves of 5k. Hate to pay shipping and Haz. Mat. so buy all you can per weight limit.

I tumble all of my match ammo, my practice ammo does not get tumbled just as it is loaded.

I have used 10k of the Federal 200 just because that is what I could get. I can't tell any difference in hardness or velocity. Use them, use a lot of them, Shoot a lot keep trying for the GM.
