  1. 160 hard cast for me with 2.7 grains of Solo 1000 for 130 pf it is so soft had to go to a 11# recoil spring to get the Glock 34 to run.
  2. From what I can see they are just putting a aluminum trigger on a Glock trigger bar. I have one on my 23 carry gun just because. I really do not like them as well as the Glock trigger, for my taste just a waste of money in my opinion.

    Ice Mag Well G-34?

I have one on my Glock 24 Limited Gun and really like it. I have the 5.5 oz one and with the tungsten guide rod the gun has plenty of heft. The fit is perfect and looks great on the gun.
  4. Regardless what Dillon says use the small.
  5. I use bullets from http://www.thebulletworks.net fast shipping and reasonable priced. They use 8-2-90 lead which is very hard.
  6. All my cast bullets as well as jacketed come from http://www.thebulletworks.net fast shipping as we as reasonable priced with great quality.
  7. http://www.thebulletworks.net is a good source for lead and jacketed bullets.
  8. If you can't replace a receiver(with the same type) it is getting a bit ridicules to say the least. I understand playing by the rules but get a life things happen parts break and have to be replaced with out having to buy a new gun each time.
  9. Don't be a whine bag with all your money just buy a new gun and donate your old one to one of the gun clubs to be auctioned off for new steel.
  10. If the striker area is full of water it will allow the gun to fire allowing the water to bypass around to the other side of the striker. I have never needed it for sure.
  11. They do not have them on their web sight yet but thebulletworks.net is making 160 grain 9mm bullets.
  12. Thanks Toothlsrooster I can only put 19 rds in my 140mm .What is your OAL?My is .1450" I will try to seat it down to .1350" to hold 20 rds. Which mag extensions do you have I can put 20 in my 140 mag that are 40 caliber with no problem and still load it in the gun. I am using Arredondo base pads.
  13. WOW it is taking so long to review and edit the rules it must be in review by lawyers, or people in higher education. That is the only two groups that I am aware of that can this long to come up with a decision.
  14. Does anyone have any data for 160g cast round nose in the 9mm for production?
  15. I saw some at thebulletworks.net you will have to call them to order but I think they told me they had about 40k right now and expecting more at any time.
  16. 1.9 grain of Clays and a 200 cast out of my 35 with a 13# spring barely opens the slide and still makes minor.
  17. In my Glock 34 with a Barsto barrel 3.8 of Solo, 124 grain plated bullets, will not make minor it takes 3.9 and it is 125 power factor on the nose so it would really take about 4.0 of Solo to have any safe side. I think Accurate Arms is living in a dream world about velocity and there powder.
  18. Looks to me like you have a case that has been fired in a Glock with the usual bulge in the case and it sticks in a tight chamber have seen it many times. I know run all my cases through a case master to eliminate problems like the one you are showing.
  19. I shoot 200 grain lead because I have a bunch, for minor and it is like shooting a 22. Usually shoot about 2 grains of Clays for 130pf.

    S&B Brass

The Dillon 1050 has a primer pocket swedging die and really can't tell any difference when loading it.
  21. Here is loading data on Solo 1000 and I did email Accurate Arms and verified that it was still correct and the response was yes. scotpowders.pdf
  22. Use bore cleaner on a rag. If it will remove copper from the barrel it will remove brass from a sight.

    Mag. base pad help

Thanks for all the replies. I went with the Dawson ice mag well and the Arredondo Mag base pads both work well together. I shoot some indoors and thought the Arredondo might hold up better than the Dawon pads being dropped on the concert.
  24. Understood, I'm just trying to reduce it as much as possible. Looks like 231 is a favorite. Anybody else have opinions? Solo 1000 is the powder for cast bullets and the 9 do a search many posts about how many people like Solo. Solo also work with plated bullets.
