  1. Aftermarket gun smith fit barrels have a larger dimension on the under-lug for a much tighter fit. When locked up it cams up the slide with the barrel against the frame. Barsto and KKM gunsmith fit barrels accomplish this. With the slide and barrel locked up against the lock block it makes all trigger jobs seem better plus is a big help to accuracy. Another way to accomplish the same effect is to add a small weld to the lock block and fit it to the barrel so when locked up there is no slop.
  2. Here you are hope this helps. glock extractors.pdf
  3. This is the most awesome product out there. http://www.uniquetek...6/product/T1231 I have the spread sheet on my I phone and just put in how much power I want and it tells me what to set the mic. on. I always check it with the scales but so far it has always been correct.
  4. Look at this and it is basically the same as you are asking. Magma makes all the molds regardless of who you buy the bullets from they are the same profile. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=105592
  5. I shoot that bullet and love it. I use 2.7g of Solo 1000 for 130 power factor.
  6. Sounds like they are just a little to long for the glock mag. Flat point bullets usually have to be just a little shorter than round nose bullets in over all length to allow for the more square profile of the point.
  7. What did it take to get the crud off? Brute force, or did it dissolve/soften easily? Not a good Idea at all still a lot of buildup from the molly coated lead and it is really hard to remove. You can buy these bullets http://www.thebulletworks.net/09-147-PL-RN-p/09-147%20pl%20rn.htm for the same price with no buildup except for powder residue. It really amazes me how much residue there is from the powder don't need any from the bullets.
  8. I load 2.7g of Solo 1000 but if you have a slow batch and shoot a short barrel it might take 2.8g but at this time 2.7 makes minor in all of my guns.
  9. That's more of a powder/lube issue than anything else. What combo are you using? Solo 1000 and thebulletworks.net bullets both plated and lead.
  10. You have to add $14 shipping (up to 2K, wich $14 increments every additional 1-2K), so they're really $79/K, which is exactly what the MG 124gr FMJ costs. Naw Three Thousand goes into a flat rate so it is $14 devided by three so it adds about 4.5 dollars some cheaper. But is takes less powder and recoil it less than jacketed is why I like them.
  11. Cut 7 coils off the OEM FPS spring how long is it now 1/4 inch.
  12. 2.7g Solo 1000 and a 160g lead round nose sized .356
  13. The only draw back to lead bullets and I shoot a lot of them is the bullet smoke. If you are looking into the sun and no wind bullet smoke is a issue with lead bullets. Cast seem to be the worst but all lead bullets smoke, don't care what the coating they put on them. For my money lead bullets are a great bang for the buck.
  14. For lead http://www.thebulletworks.net/160-gr-38-Round-Nose-bullet-p/38-160%20rn.htm Plated http://www.thebulletworks.net/38-158-PL-RNFP-p/38-158%20pl%20rnfp.htm
  15. SRP are to hard to dent with a Glock so try to stay away from them. My findings is they are even harder than Wolf SP.
  16. Solo has not been discontinued, Rio just purchased all of it from Accurate and it takes 60 plus days to get more across the waters. After talking to Rio for a while they said it was about 30 days ago when they cleaned Accurate Arms out so we just have to wait for the ship to arrive with more.
  17. Try these they are a lot better than Berry's and have a .012 plate versus .004 on Berry's. http://www.thebulletworks.net/09-124-PL-RN-p/09-124%20pl%20rn.htm They are only 71.8 per thousand.
  18. I shoot these at 160g http://www.thebulletworks.net/160-gr-9mm-Round-Nose-bullet-p/09-160%20rn.htm just like cheating.
  19. Wolf primers work OK but are very hard. If you load with a 650 or 550 most people have difficulty seating them. I only use them on a 1050 and with auto's with strong striker springs.
  20. I shoot them and they are great they have a .012 plating which is almost like jacketed. It takes some place between lead and jacketed for the powder charge. Great to deal with and quick shipping.
  21. For only $4 a thousand more I buy these and they are like little jewels. http://www.thebulletworks.net/Default.asp?Redirected=Y
  22. They buy it form three different suppliers, I have never found more than a couple of tenth of a grain difference between fastest to slowest. Have only used about 40 pounds of it so far all in 8# containers spanning about 3 to 4 years now.
  23. Factory barrel is accurate enough for this game but KKM gunsmith fit barrels are sure nice and take up all the play between the slide and frame. When the gun feels tight it just gives the shooter that extra vote of confidence on the long shots.
  24. I did see the Glock 22 conversions at the shot show. Tac. Sol. said they were ready to ship. We did order some with other items and none have arrived yet.
