Typical monthly winter match for us here in VT. Actually, you need 3 ft of snow with a snow blown path fault line @ 0deg to really get the feel of it!!! Loose the gloves, use hand warmers(best with mittens)between rounds / sessions to get the life back in your hands. Really hard to get your grip right with gloves on. Great that your out there though, who needs warm weather!!!!

There is indication on the S&W forum that this has been done with hit or miss results, should be doable. You will of course have to purchase 9mm magazines so is it realy worth it???? Also, if your looking at use in production division believe this would not be a legal mod...... If intent is production, why not just load .40 for minor PF and have at it????

So I got DQ’d at the Tarheel 3 Gun match on 02/16/13

On my Limited you can rack the slide with the safety on so not shure if the RO used that for a criteria in your case. With the dump bucket, wouldn't there be a chance that the safety could be bumped when removing from the bucket causing it to drop or get knocked to the off position when placed in the bucket?? Not sure how a dump bucket for a pistol is set up so just guessing / asking.... -
Appears to be an SVI trigger with the short curve insert......

Can I buy a spare Mossberg 930 lifter somewhere?
NoSteel replied to JesseM's topic in Shotgun - Technical
I sent them a long Email concerning this and trying to find out if they had a list of "approved" suppliers of parts for their firearms. So far, nothing. Not the correct way to run a buisness in the current environment......... -

I have one with about 2" overlap and one with 4" , I don't feel as secure with the short one.. Also harder to snug up.. With that much overlap you will find it more comfortable to have the loop in the back.....

I don't disagree.... Just posted the forum policy as it is written as it may be considered advertisement.. Not my call, just was making you aware if you were not of this guideline... Apologize if it appeared I was dictating policy, not my intent.. -

Attaching Walls to Brackets
NoSteel replied to Graham Smith's topic in Target & Prop Design and Construction
Clamps (Back Side)?? Our walls are framed with strapping so this is easy. In your case you may need to add a clamping strip to each wall section edge.. -
We have a small club so it's simple.... You, R.O., Score, Tape, or are shooting... If your not doing one of those you will hear about it. Nothing worse than seeing the R.O. Or last shooter having to tape while others gab..

Should USPSA allow 8-shot minor in Revolver Division?
NoSteel replied to Carmoney's topic in Revolver Forum
I think all options should be looked at. In todays / future political climate there may need to be a little more diversity otherwise some states will have few division choices left that meet local statutes.... -
They are not easy to be had at all.... You did not say if it's a 24" or 22". Did you ask that you get whichever comes in first?? I'm in Vermont and dealers here haven't even seen one until I got mine here from Kentucky thanks to Enos members. So, I'm curious why you just can't get the money back and look elsewhere??? Good luck but I think your in for a long wait....

Two guns blown up in five weeks...suggestions?
NoSteel replied to PapaBonez's topic in 9mm/38 Caliber
Getting a new press may help but if there is an issue with your reloading practice you could still have the same problem with a progressive. I does seem the 550 requires a bit more attention to detail but is still an excellent press. There was someone on the forum a few years ago with similar issues ( couple of squib loads an a kaboom) using a 550.. It came down to pulling cases to do frequent powder checks and just not following thru afterwards. When I had a 550, Here was my method. You need to develop what works for you, this is just what worked for me.... Run a spent primed case through the powder measure only, ten separate times, and weigh each. This may sound like over kill but it takes maybe 2 min to complete. Yes, after measuring, pour powder back in tube and do again. Once your satisfied your drop is correct, start loading and don't pull cases to do checks. I always did this 200 rounds at a time, spare primer tube ready. Look in EVERY case when placing bullet. After 200 rounds, Let the press empty out, get your primer tubes ready, check drop again (I only checked 2drops) and start again. 200rnds a whack gives you a nice break to empty your bin, inspect your loads, check your press, empty your spent primers, re-fill powder tube (I do not let drop below plastic tube) before starting again. Your press should no problem keeping the powder drops accurate over this time frame if your doing your part. You'll loose just a few minutes doing this but will still have plenty of rounds out of the press and have less chance of getting complacent. Doing this, you should be able to get a good system down so that if something is wrong you'll be able to recognize it right off. Get a system and stick to it. If someone else is going to use your press, get them to follow your example!!! However you do it, once you get comfortable that your loading sessions are thorough, your shooting sessions will be more enjoyable knowing that a kaboom isn't waiting on your next shot. -
Yup, sight down the bore and adjust. 50 yard out ipsc target, white out, with blaze orange target dot pasted to center. Then move out to 100 yd. if you aren't on the target, save your ammo. You got bigger issues
