Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. All my custom builds had WMD NiB BCG's. They claim you can run them dry...they are that slick! I believe Fail Zero does the Nickel Boron coating on the Spikes NiB units. WMD (Weapons of Mass Destruction) is supposedly owned by ex-employees of Fail Zero. WMD also did the NiB coating for my Glock 19 (factory) and provides a lifetime warranty on the coating they put on the slide and barrel! Either BCG is Mil-Spec and the highest quality that I have used. I also used Spikes regular phosphate BCG's, before they got impossible to get.
  2. Sold my GEN4 34 and bought a GEN3 19 NiB and a GEN3 17L. Could not be happier..both run flawless. The GEN 4 just never ran as smooth or reliable.
  3. I have a new G19 NiBoron for carry, but end up shooting my 17L longslide the most when practicing at the range on the plates. It's just so easy to hit with, and my large hands fit it better than the 19.
  4. I think you would love a 34 once you shot it.
  5. Never could shoot good scores with a XDM...just bought the XDM 5.25, reworked the trigger and sold it. Back to my G34 and hi-scores. I hardly shoot my Springfield TRP anymore, as I am so accustomed to the Glock and how well it points.
  6. I love my GEN4 Glock 34...sold all my GEN3 guns. The grip fits perfectly with the beavertail adapters. Going to get a G26 GEN4 next for carry gun. Best thing Glock ever did was to move up the the GEN 4 guns. I took this to the 100 meter rifle range last Sunday, and was hitting the 12" gong (off sandbags) on every shot! The rifle shooters could not belive what a "plastic 9mm" pistol could do! LOL
  7. You can load both .45 ACP and .308 with the .45 shellplate on your 650. I did.
  8. I am setting up my new Glock 34 with a Carter Competition mount, and putting a Trijicon RMR on it. Time will tell how it stands up, but I figured the RMR would not take the beating on the frame mount verses bolting it to the slide.
  9. NORDIC/WILSON 18" Competition Stainless, 1:8 twist, rifle gas system. AWESOME barrel.
  10. These are what I am building for 3-gun matches right now. Extremely accurate...expect groups of 3.25" at 400 yards. Bottom line: I am using Nordic Wilson 18" 1:8 barrels, rifle gas systems, and Nordic's Corvette compensators. Shooting 69 SMK's over Varget.
  11. I just picked up 3 Nordic/Wilson barrels and their matching Corvette Comps...NICE quality. 18" 1:8 twist, SS, and rifle gas system. I am building 3 uppers this weekend using KIES adjustable gas blocks, YHM FF tubes, on Spikes uppers. Hope to get out to the range on Sunday and see how the first one performs..if the wind quits blowing. Here is what my builds look like and pricing...I am hearing some customers shooting 3.25" groups at 400 yards...with 69 SMK's over Varget...which is impressive. http://www.nextechclassifieds.com/listings/view/346246/
  12. I have built a couple of SUPERMATCH rifles, and sell them locally. See parts list in my add...using "top quality" parts add up quickly, but they are definetely worth every penny. http://www.nextechclassifieds.com/listings/view/346246/
  13. I'm sure there has to be users in KC area that could give you a "demo". I actually drove to Salina Kansas to see how the 650's run. Nick's Pawn shop has several 650's running that they load on daily. They shoot competitions, and load TONS of ammo with these machines. I think he had 3 set up for various calibers, and even a 1050 running. It's quite a setup. After I experienced that, I sold my LNL-AP and RCBS Progressives...and bought a new XL-650. Just ran 1000 .45ACP's thru it...FLAWLESS! If you buy the Dillon, you will get spoiled.
  14. I buy my golf clubs on E-Bay and my Dillon stuff from Brian! Reloading equipment usually goes high on e-bay...sometimes more than my local gunshop sells it for!
  15. Ran my 650 without a case feeder for a while..works fine. I just spend the $217 for the casefeeder...WOW...can't believe the difference in reloading speed. You can basically just focus on putting bullets in the cases.
