1. Where did he get the stainless screws? Will buy a box! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
2. Fixed the post, OAL was 1.150 No primer signs. I picked up 1lb of CFE from a prize table and wanted to see if I could get 145 power factor to match Federal 147 HST for training. Not gonna happen though; the increments in PF above 4.2 grains were already diminishing returns. I will settle for 131 PF at 4.2 grains max load as it felt good, was very accurate and shot to the same point of aim as my standard load. And no noticeable smoke with plated bullets. Great for indoor matches. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

5. From Maggie: Dear Friends, my heart is broken. The love of my life, my soulmate, my precious husband Michael Voigt passed away after a long battle with cancer. We have been together for 11 years, I know we will be together forever. Services and Interment will be held Saturday, April 14th at 3:00pm at Rose Hills Memorial Park, 3888 Workman Mill Road, Whittier, CA 90601. Join our family in celebrating his life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, I ask that you support the great passion of his life by donating to the USPSA Junior Program. https://uspsa.org/announcement/576 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
6. I was wearing +.25” thick glasses when I got my LASIK done in 2001. What a blessing to not have to wear 2 lb glasses all day. No more headaches! My only regret is having the “standard” procedure done with the dominant eye treated for distance and the non dominant eye treated for reading. So I still need prescription shooting glasses to see iron sights. After 15 years the prescription was changed slightly to sharpen it up and I had my best Western States Single Stack finish. At age 65 I’m having the most fun shooting carry optics. Imagine my delight when I discovered the Deltapoint 7.5 triangle was perfectly sharp without prescription glasses! I can wear any plano tinted glasses for daytime and clear for indoors. At the time I was so afraid of the procedure I did visit several providers and settled on the most expensive one who had endorsements from pro baseball and football players. Plus he guaranteed enough Valium to insure I wouldn’t care about having my eyes cut. I do use eye drops (Systane) 1 or 2 times a day, maybe more at a dusty match but it’s an ingrained habit plus it lets me sit out a few rounds of taping and resetting and give my knees a rest. That’s the next issue. I would encourage you to find a doctor who is not hoplophobic and can help you keep your dominant eye focused on the front sight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
7. I’ve loaded 5 magazines worth of dummy rounds with hot glue in the primer pockets to clearly distinguish them from live rounds. I think it’s important to dry fire and practice reloading with weighted magazines, especially with a plastic gun as draws feel dramatically different. Like MM above my several M&Ps (FS and Shields) have thousands of dry fires without issue. I never expected the hot glue to be a cushion, just a safety reminder. There is also a Bill Rogers dry fire insert that allows you to lock back and rack the slide without chambering anything. You can insert it over dummy rounds to keep the magazines weighted: https://holsterops.com/products/tap-rack-training-aid-trt Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
8. Jeremy Living in probably the same state as you I’ve resorted to shopping slides online. Currently on gunbroker https://www.gunbroker.com/Item/741735977 Drop in an unported barrel and you’re set. I like the Deltapoint 7.5 (not Pro) and removed the irons to speed the learning curve. I’m putting them back on after losing the dot (battery died) on a last stage. Larry Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
9. Thanks for the link, stick. Looks like all I need are casefeeder parts and the Dillon conversion kit with shell plate and pins etc. My powder measure will work for the 650, that was the most expensive part I can save on. (and don’t have to reset the charge) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
10. Just upgraded to a 650 in 9mm. That will be 90% of my loading. Need to load 1k of .40, I already have a 550 tool head setup with powder measure. Besides a new 650 tool head and shell plate, what else do I need? Can the 550 powder measure and die and locator pins work on the 650? Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
11. Time Again for SD Speedshooter's 2nd Sunday of AUGUST ALL STEEL MATCH! Pistol shooters, shotgun shooters, .22 shooters - come join us this 2nd Sunday, August 13th 2017, for an all steel USPSA-style match. This is a great match for shooters in any of the competitive disciplines - USPSA, IDPA, Police, Cowboy, etc. We allow .22s (pistol and rifle) for this match so bring the kids or a new shooter along. The match consists of a minimum of seven USPSA style stages using only steel targets and the usual USPSA props (barricades, barrels, ports, etc.). If it's made of steel we shoot it - pepper poppers, round and square plates, movers, swingers, plate racks, Texas stars, and more. Round count is typically around 150, but bring lots of ammo as steel is unforgiving. We recognize all USPSA pistol divisions, as well as both .22 pistol or rifle and shotgun (sorry, no magnums or .223). Pistol Caliber Carbines are Welcome! The round count will be between 20-24 per stage. Get there early and sign up in your favorite squad. Squadding is mandatory! Because of the large turnout we will start registration and mandatory squadding at 7:15 AM. Shooter's Meeting at 7:45 and First Shots Down Range at 8 AM. Match fee is $40 and $20 for a second gun. We have a vendor who will have food and drink available for purchase at the range. Your support of the food vendor will help ensure that they continue to return for future matches.:grilling: If you're not planning to purchase food or drink you should bring something to drink as there is no running water at the range. Directions to the range: ://lineadefuego.info/matches/ncsa.php New shooter info: ://lineadefuego.info/matches/new_shooters.php Bring at least 4-5 magazines, & holster if you have them, if not you may be able to use one of the other shooters magazines, or someone in your squad can reload the empty ones and hand them back to you while you’re shooting. Please NO Shotgun Slugs (Birdshot only) NO Magnum Pistol Calibers NO Rifle Caliber Pistols (.223 etc.) PISTOL Caliber CARBINES are WELCOME!! Celebrate Summer with a Fun Day of Shooting!
12. You can try loading longer, for me it seems to assure trouble free feeding. 180 grain Bear Creeks 1.45-1.50 in a factory barrel. Also works for 155 grain BCs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
13. My check boxes are gray on my iPhone. I was not aware the check boxes were significant; Tapatalk user guide is difficult to access. My gripe is that when clicking on email link to an updated discussion my iPhone used to go directly to Tapatalk. Now it opens in the browser asking if I have Tapatalk; if I click yes it opens the App Store, I click open and it opens Tapatalk main page but never takes me to the discussion link I started with. It is easier to read posts on my tiny iPhone screen in Tapatalk than with the browser version, that's why I stick with it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
14. My 550 broke in the same place after 600,000 rounds. Sent a picture to Dillon and they sent all the parts immediately. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
15. I'm very happy with Gene Morin (Oregon) M&P trigger jobs with all factory internals. gmorin@dcwisp.net And I really like the factory swivel trigger, I never liked the little pimple sticking out of the Glock trigger face. I wish Apex would make a flat face swivel trigger without the pimple. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
16. 2 years now with a Deltapoint (not Pro) I bought used. Sent it to Leupold (no charge) because the original owner buggered the adjustment screws. Took it off to change the battery before nationals last summer, didn't change zero. Now have 2 more I found used for $2-300. Love that big triangle for these soon to be super senior eyes. 17. Just wondering why they didn't restrict the mags to "factory flush" to keep the division more interesting? It was originally called "carry" Optic. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
18. Does the entry fee only cover the Main Event? Are different events on different days? Why does it last an entire week? The schedule is not clear on the website. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

20. Per USPSA Down Range this morning: Online self-squadding will open at 2 p.m. EST, on Jan. 21, for the 2017 USPSA Sig Sauer Optics National Championship. Competitors that have returned and paid their earned slots will be able to choose a squad and schedule. The match will be a two-day format: March 23-24 or March 25-26. USPSA members that did not receive an earned slot will be able to register on Jan. 28. So non-slotters get to register after squadding? Won't be any weekend squads left. 21. If you join Rio Salado you are expected to work the big matches for the first 15-20 years or so...[emoji27] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
22. Any other non-Area 1 residents get in yet? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
23. Squadding link came in at 10:41 pm. Not the first though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
