  1. After load & make ready, turn off your ear pro, wiggle your toes and fingers while waiting for the beep, and the crowd will go away. Sent from my reloading bench using Tapatalk
  2. You might want to also check: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?/topic/190955-New-Vortex-Spitfire/page__view__findpost__p__2112183 I prefer the Spitfire etched reticle as the reflex dots are oblong starbursts due to astigmatism. Sent from my reloading bench using Tapatalk
  3. Just finished second steel match with a used Deltapoint on my .40 CORE. Worked great no problems seems like a tough sight and that big triangle is great for my 62 year old eyes. As far as sighting in goes I took this advice: http://smith-wessonforum.com/showthread.php?p=138407567 and had it sighted in 20 minutes. Removed the sight for each adjustment and the mount indexed perfectly. Leupold service rep told me the Deltapoint Pro was shipped but I can't find it in stock anywhere Sent from my reloading bench using Tapatalk
  4. Time Again for Linea de Fuego's Fifth Saturday of AUGUST ALL STEEL MATCH! Pistol shooters, shotgun shooters, .22 shooters - come join us this Fifth Saturday, August 29th 2015, for an all steel USPSA-style match. This is a great match for shooters in any of the competitive disciplines - USPSA, IDPA, Police, Cowboy, etc. We allow .22s (pistol and rifle) for this match so bring the kids or a new shooter along. The match consists of a minimum of seven USPSA style stages using only steel targets and the usual USPSA props (barricades, barrels, ports, etc.). If it's made of steel we shoot it - pepper poppers, round and square plates, movers, swingers, plate racks, Texas stars, and more. Round count is typically around 150, but bring lots of ammo as steel is unforgiving. We recognize all USPSA pistol divisions, as well as both .22 pistol or rifle and shotgun (sorry, no magnums or .223). The round count will be between 20-24 per stage. Get there early and sign up in your favorite squad. Squadding is mandatory! Because of the large turnout we will start registration and mandatory squadding at 7:15 AM. Shooter's Meeting at 7:45 and First Shots Down Range at 8 AM. Match fee is $35 for the non-members and $25 for LdF members. We have a vendor who will have food and drink available for purchase at the range. Your support of the food vendor will help ensure that they continue to return for future matches. If you're not planning to purchase food or drink you should bring something to drink as there is no running water at the range. Match info: http://lineadefuego.info/matches/index.php Directions to the range: http://lineadefuego.info/matches/ncsa.php New shooter info: http://lineadefuego.info/matches/new_shooters.php Bring at least 4-5 magazines, & holster if you have them, if not you may be able to use one of the other shooters magazines, or someone in your squad can reload the empty ones and hand them back to you while you’re shooting. Please NO Shotgun Slugs (Birdshot only) NO Magnum Pistol Calibers NO Rifle Caliber Pistols (.223 etc.) PISTOL Caliber CARBINES are WELCOME!!
  5. What were the ladies shooting? Sent from my reloading bench using Tapatalk
  6. Practiscore can do that Oh I forgot, USPSA HQ doesn't use Practiscore due to HQ not liking someone. Right. I'm used to seeing break downs at the Area matches using iPads. Sent from my reloading bench using Tapatalk
  7. Is there a breakdown somewhere of class leaders? Sent from my reloading bench using Tapatalk
  8. I'm not headed back to the range but to the airport. Sorry but email kathy@pasapark.com right away. Good luck! Sent from my reloading bench using Tapatalk
  9. Having finished relay 2 today it looks like all of Wednesday Thursday and two of our stages from this morning: /http://www.uspsa.org/uspsa-display-match-results-detail.php?indx=15308 Sent from my reloading bench using Tapatalk
  10. Barsto match chambers are tight, minimum SAAMI spec so will work with any quality factory ammunition. As far as reloads go you need roll-sized cases (Casemaster) and jacketed bullets of the correct dimension. Cast and coated bullets that are .001 over will get stuck. What caliber? What kind of bullets? You may need to have a gunsmith open the chamber slightly if you want to use range brass and cast or coated bullets. Sent from my reloading bench using Tapatalk
  11. I have had barsto barrel experience for 20 years. Their match chambers are tight right at minimum SAMMI spec Sent from my reloading bench using Tapatalk
  12. Loading for .40 minor I settled on 1.150 for 180 gr RNFP and 1.145 for 155 gr SWC. (Bear Creek bullets) Best combination of feeding, chrono consistency and accuracy. If I was pushing for major PF I would go as long as possible. Sent from my reloading bench using Tapatalk
  13. Actually yes to both above; a FS slide and a Pro or Long slide will work on a Compact frame. I have used the FS slide on the compact frame for IDPA matches and had no problems; in the long run it'll get more dust in the springs. I am working on a sliding insert to fill in the gap.
  14. I have two frames and four slides and have swapped them in every possible combination without any problems. Even a FS frame works with a Compact slide. Sent from my reloading bench using Tapatalk
  15. Relay 2 - Looking to share car rental and hotel room. Flying into St Louis Tuesday at 3:30 and flying back from St Louis 3:30 Saturday. Have rental reserved for drive to Quincy Inn; Tuesday night through Friday night two queen beds already reserved. Senior, C Class, easy to get along with. Let me know if this fits your schedule! 16. Try dryfiring with and without a (empty) magazine inserted, both with slide on and slide off. I recently received my CORE frame back with a Burwell-type trigger job and have similar symptoms. Dry fires without magazine, dead trigger with magazine. Observed trigger bar being shoved towards the frame by the magazine. Will perform very careful bending this weekend to establish clearance. 20. How about the Vortex Razor? How does Jerry Miculek mount his since the Razor is not listed in the booklet? Sent from my reloading bench using Tapatalk
  21. Just won a 1/2 off certificate, how long should I wait for the less cluttered reticle? Sent from my reloading bench using Tapatalk
  22. Just go to the uspsa website and log in with your password or use the pin on your front sight magazine... http://www.uspsa.org/squadding/index.php Finally found it. Squad 3 - are you the Chuck S - OPN on Squad 3? Got an email from PistolStats with a PIN number but no link. I still can't change my USPSA login since it was hacked; apparently my email on file they send the reset to is an old one that doesn't exist anymore so I'm stuck in a Catch-22.
  23. I have not received the email link. How do I get to the squadding page?
